I was very excited to come across Kips Homemade Burgers, as my son’s name is Kip! The grill was smoking, the staff were busy launching out orders, the dining area was clean and organized. I ordered the homemade 8oz burger with the works. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the burger as it was definitely overcooked and in general…. not great? It came to over $20 for just a burger and a small can of beer. Other than that I enjoyed my experience, and the owner was very friendly! Thank for you lunch!

Today I decided to try a new burger joint for lunch and I was severely disappointed. For 27 dollars I felt as if I had been ripped off.I ordered a 6oz burger combo and a poutine. When the total rang up I felt like walking out, however due to being on a time constraint I payed and hoped for the best.My burger was somewhat dry, with very little taste. The bacon was over cooked to the point it was hard. Personally I would have rather had a McDonald's burger at this point but I had my hopes up for the poutine as it looked delicious.I was absolutely wrong about the poutine. This joint uses basic shredded cheese rather then curds. The gravy was bland and nothing special. The fries were over cooked.Everything about this experience followed with deep regret.

It's my first time eating here and ordered a 6 oz homemade burger and it's okay a little bit dry but the service is great. I will try the 8 oz next time.
Cheeseburger, fries with gravy were all excellent. I decided to eat in and was served at my table which was really nice. The owner was so nice and helpful. Restaurant has been upgraded since the last time i was there, and it is very inviting. Highly recommended.

Best burgers in Durham Region!! I’ve said this to many people and those that have had the pleasure to try their burgers already, agree with it. Anyone that tries it based on the recommendation come back to say how much they enjoyed it. The woman at the counter could not be ANY nicer. She brings that old school customer service that is so sorely missing in far too many service industries. A real gem of a place that needs to be supported. Keep doing what you’re doing please. :)

This is a joint that handmakes every burger. The butcher for the meat blend is also local. It's a serious burger that puts quality above all else. No this ain't some frozen McDs or big chain. It's for the burger connoisseur.
