Came here to try fufu for the first time. We had it with the ntaba (grilled goat) and ngombe (beef stew), plantain, and after our meal we had the masala tea and beignets. We dined in, and the customer service was amazing. As soon as we were seated, the lady brought us beignets to try, and it was so good we ended up ordering some. We had it with the masala tea, which had to be the best masala tea I’ve had. Our waiter also brought us the masala tea as soon as we finished our meal, which was very nice. The food was so flavorful and delicious, it felt like home cooked food, very comforting. I would definitely go back!

Had an excellent meal here. Jollof rice and beans with the smoked chicken was awesome! Our dessert of beignets with Karak tea was a perfect ending to our meal. Great service with really friendly staff. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to try the fufu.

The beignets are probably the best fried dough product I’ve ever eaten. They were so good! We have beef and fufu and chicken and beignets. Everything was a 10. We will definitely be back.

So glad we found this restaurant on TikTok. We’ve wanted to try African food for so long and didn’t realize this hidden gem was right in our neighborhood. The customer service was excellent, Lukman took care of us and our food was delicious. We ordered 4 dishes with fufu, Ngombe, Mbisi ya mayi, Fumbwa (this was my favourite) and Ntaba. All were flavourful and the goat was nice and smoky. We’re definitely returning here to try more dishes!

This place has the best coffee. I love to have a cup it a cozy restaurant atmosphere enjoying the weather outside nowadays. I am from Europe and it’s making me happy to taste a good coffee! For me it’s better than in Starbucks? they also have different varieties of tea. My favorite is spiced milk tea, named masala?

For the first time my daughter and I tried food from here. We had Antananarivo (Grilled goat topped with sweet pepper sauce) , Fufu, and Mikate Beignets. I highly recommend this place. It was delicious. Everything tastes so fresh and authentic. This place will be one of our favourite comforting food place.

They worked with us to finalize the menu, and all the logistics of picking up a large order. Everything was on time and food tasted amazing. We picked up the food and it was all piping hot. Even our friends appreciated the unique dishes.
Highly recommend this place especially for house parties and large groups. It's truely a hidden gem.
