We had a fantastic lunch at Ma Yve Grill. Ibrahim served us and he made sure we had the best. The masala tea he made was amazing. The chicken, goat, vegetable dishes were sooooo good. After a long time, we enjoyed a delicious meal. Looking forward to coming back again.

Huge fan of African cuisine in general. Unfortunately didn't like any of the dishes we received when ordering on Ubereat. I also went in person one time to try again and no one came to take my order - I was the only person inside lol. This is another one that I don't get the hype for.

Went there with my friend and the food was so good!! Feels like home cooking than a restaurant which made it so much better. I got the rice and pondu and loved it. Also got beignets and they were so addictive, definitely coming back for more

An absolute gem!
I had the most wonderful experience at this Congolese restaurant. Ma Yve was incredibly sweet, you can feel the love and pride she puts into everything, from the hospitality to the food.
And speaking of food… absolutely delicious! Every bite was full of rich, authentic flavour. You can tell it’s made with care and tradition. It felt like being invited into someone’s home for a lovingly prepared meal.
If you're looking for hearty, comforting, and soul-satisfying food, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

I discovered this amazing spot a few years ago thanks to a video by Serge Ibaka (former Raptors champion), where he shared that Ma Yve used to personally deliver home-cooked Congolese meals to his condo in Toronto because he missed the taste of home. That alone told me the food had to be special—and wow, it really is.
My favourite dishes are the fufu na fumbwa and the chicken + beignets. The food here is absolutely delicious. So rich, flavourful, and clearly made with love. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Congolese cuisine or just want to try something new and unforgettable!

Incredible all around! We ordered an array of dishes and Ma Yve explained what each one was and how she prepared them. You can tell how much heart her and her sister put into their cooking. It tasted like fresh, yummy home cooked meals - which is exactly what it is! Would definitely recommend :)
P.s. the beignets, spinach & peanut dish, and beef stew were TOP tier!
Had a wonderful lunch at Ma Yve today. We had Makayabu, Loso Makemba Na Soso, Ntaba, Beignets and the Masala chai. Everything was delicious and the kind gentleman serving us was very helpful in helping us pick out what to have as it was our first time trying Congolese food! Don't sleep on the Masala Chai, it was one of the best ones we've had!

Serge ibaka approves so do I
Came here to try fufu for the first time. We had it with the ntaba (grilled goat) and ngombe (beef stew), plantain, and after our meal we had the masala tea and beignets. We dined in, and the customer service was amazing. As soon as we were seated, the lady brought us beignets to try, and it was so good we ended up ordering some. We had it with the masala tea, which had to be the best masala tea I’ve had. Our waiter also brought us the masala tea as soon as we finished our meal, which was very nice. The food was so flavorful and delicious, it felt like home cooked food, very comforting. I would definitely go back!
First time trying fufu it was very tasty, the owner Ma Yve told me how to warm it up and how to store it she was very helpful and friendly.
