We have been here many times over the years but something has changed. Food is getting so salty that I couldn't get enough to drink. Staff must know this because they refilled our drinks so many timea. Also something different with the soy sauce. Changed for a few bottles before it tasted better. Not the best experience at a place we've enjoyed many times over the years. And has also become so pricey for AYCE.

Food was good but when they refilled my water, they poured a bunch of water on the table and inside my sauce. The food though it was good, 2nd round took ages to come! They know what they're doing for sure. They want to slow down the process so your brain registers you're full. Instead of ordering more

Firstly, I do not generally do reviews but in this case I am. Ordered take out for the first time from Makimono Pickering. The sushi rice was stale to the point where the rice was crispy. Rolls seem like they were sitting out for the day definitely not freshly made. We ordered spicy salmon rolls and spicy crab. Got regular that was horrible. $90 down the drain. Would not recommend ordering take out from here.

Poor lighting overall and especially in the washroom. All you can eat experience wasn't good. Service didn't match the 15% default gratuity applied to our big group gathering.
There were a lot of first timers in the group and not a single waitress took few mins to explain how the system works. Waitresses simply dropped off the food at one end of the table.
The payment machines provided the option of tipping even after 15% gratuity is applied and lot of folks in our group tipped upto 25% unintentionally.
