Got takeout just now, got home to find out they didn't follow instructions. Receipt indeed says what we ordered: 2 regular sandwiches, 2 no veggies. However, we opened them to find out they all have veggies. After a long tiring day we decided to get food out, and now we're having to scrape off the lettuce, all the mayo is gone with the lettuce, and we're eating cold sandwiches. Terrible at following instructions.

We usually get the taters. This time we wanted to try the fries. They were dark in colour, overcooked, and burnt. Just inedible. I called the manager to express my concern and she said it was the oil and insisted the fries were fresh. We have been a long time Mary Browns customer for years. The chicken and salads never disappoint but there was no level of customer service. That’s disappointing!

Food is delicious, never had a problem with that, but I just spent $15 for a meal that had 3 chicken fingers that were the smallest chicken fingers ive ever seen... portions are absolutely absurd for the price at this place nowadays. Taters were good like always.

Haven't visited in quite a while. It used to be my go-to chicken place, but this location has gone downhill badly. Taters were ok, the gravy was watered down, and the chicken seemed on the verge of going bad. We threw out 6 of the 9 pieces. Waste of money... If you want Mary Browns, go to the Ajax location.

I never tried Mary Brown's before today and now that I have wish I never did.
I asked for a fresh batch of chicken and was willing to buy more in order to secure a freshly fried order. I ordered 12 pieces of mild chicken after some discussion with the server. The cashier and kitchen staff agreed to provide a new batch as requested.
After waiting 20 minutes I returned to the store to find the chicken waiting. The cashier asked me to inspect the chicken. She had also offered an opportunity to check the available chicken when I first ordered. I declined the chicken that was available since it would take me 35 minutes to drive home in order to eat. Now that I've sat to my meal it's obvious I wasnt given a fresh order as requested. So now my meal was 50.minutes older than the time of purchase.
I suspect the previously absent manager forced them to serve me the stale chicken based on their exchanges at pick up.
Chick n joy, church's, Popeyes are all better options and notably cheaper.

Customer service was good for what it was. But the food situation was not great. The chicken was soft and tender and really great but they have absolutely downsized their chicken. Also, I asked for three-piece white meat meal and I told him I don’t want a wing and they toss in a wing anyways in that box and when I asked the cashier if they would’ve put a wing in there and she goes no they would only put white meat and so I believed her until I got home. But even if all three were chicken breast; it still would not have been filling because they are extremely smaller than what they used to be.
I was getting annoyed with how many Uber eats orders they were getting and the actual people coming in because she had stopped me midway through my ordering to go to the tablet to see what Uber eats order was coming in or she was modifying it and looking through the screen. Then when I was about to pay for my meal and UBER DRIVER came in, and she stopped, preparing all my stuff inside the bag and took care of the Uber eats person first before taking care of me. This was very agitating since I was very hungry and I was already waiting there for almost 10 minutes for my food and it was only me at the counter and no one else at the beginning .
I personally will not come back to this location again as it wasn’t worth my $20 for three small pieces of chicken and one of them was also a chicken wing and for being kicked to the curb every time there is an Uber eat order or person during my wait time over there. I was not a happy customer at all . It’s unfortunate because they do have great chicken, but with the downsizing of it and their service catering to Uber eats first. Not good at all in my books.

The chicken at this location is really good, juicy and tender. However, most recently I ordered 3 piece upsize of white meat but they gave me a wing as one of the pieces with the remaining two pieces being extremely small pieces as well. I remember ordering this same order before with two pieces and received two large breast pieces but this time i ordered more pieces but got less overall. pretty disappointing

For a couple of boxes of Chicken the wait was unreasonably long. The staff were somewhat nice but even after most of the crowd had died down we were still waiting. We arrived and ordered at 9:20pm didn’t get food till 9:44pm. Please try to handle small crowds better. ☹️
