Moxies Pickering Restaurant

The server was great and the hostesses were welcoming but the food took a while to get out. At one point the people at our table who got the happy hour special were served and finished eating for at least 15 minutes before the rest of the table received their food. I appreciated that they were able to get the kids meals out early though. They tried to rectify the problem by giving a single dessert to the table on the house to share. They also have the person we were celebrating a special dessert on the house as well. Again, mixed feelings because the server was so sweet.

My first time. My daughter chose Moxie's for their fairly extensive menu options, for her bday dinner. She has several food intolerances, so this worked for her. I made a reservation early afternoon for 6:30, in a booth, but when we arrived staff told us there would be approximately a 20 min wait, even after I stated we had reservation for a booth at 6:30. A manager came over, asked me a few questions, then suddenly there was a table, but no booth. We were put right by the front door, it was very busy and very loud. No complaints with the server, she was polite. Food took quite some time to arrive and was ok. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great. It was ok. No alcohol, $150 + tip for 4 of us. It worked out for my daughters food intolerance, but I'm in no rush to go back. It was just "meh".

Seven of us celebrating two birthdays. our waiter was lovely and so attentive. Avocado Cobb Salad was delicious, huge portion, the short rib beef dip was a hit! Three ordered it and loved it!

I went here for Father's Day with of course my dad and my significant other. Overall, we enjoyed a nice meal. Our server was really friendly and accommodating checking up on us if we're enjoying our meals! I went to Moxie's Pickering for years and our food is still really good!

From the moment we walked into Moxies, the vibes were right—and Blen made it even better! Her warm smile and easygoing energy reminded me of that laid-back, friendly feel you get back home in Jamaica. Pure good vibes!

I had the salmon, and mi nah lie—it was fire! Cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Blen kept the drinks flowing and the table happy. She moved like a true professional but still made it feel like we were being taken care of by family.

Big up Blen! You turned a regular dinner into a real experience. We’ll definitely be back for more food, more vibes, and hopefully more of your amazing service. Respect every time!

I had an amazing experience at Moxies thanks to our server, Blen. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Blen made us feel welcome right away and had excellent recommendations from the menu. Our drinks and food came out quickly and everything was perfect—but what really stood out was her exceptional service. She checked in at just the right times without ever feeling intrusive, and her positive energy added so much to our evening.

Came here June 10th to celebrate Grad dinner with family and friends.

I went to Moxies Pickering to celebrate for my mother and daughter’s birthdays, and was not happy with the service that I received. I felt completely rushed, and bombarded the whole time. We were not able to enjoy our meals, and when it was time to get their birthday desserts, they brought it out while they were still eating their meals. The ice cream had completely melted, thankfully we were able to speak the manager and he brought a new one. Madison didn’t even ask if the rest of the party wanted anything from the dessert menu, which was extremely frustrating. When I asked if she had any cutlery for the dessert, she brought it out of her back pocket which did not seem sanitary at all. Another frustration I had was when we were still eating our dessert, she brought out the POS machine and asked if it was one bill or separate. I’m not sure why she was rushing us the whole time! This was planned weeks in advance, and we drove 1hr to my mother’s home and decided to go to this specific location because it was close to her house. I will never be returning to this establishment ever again. I get way better service at the Moxies Yorkdale location. I’m not sure why we were treated this way, it made me feel like it was some sort of racial discrimination.

My mom and I were there to celebrate my birthday. We had already been there to celebrate Mother’s Day weeks before. We can’t get enough of that delicious salmon dish and their homemade key lime pie is a must. The service has consistently been on point and that location remains a staple destination for us.

We ordered the calamari and stacked tuna for apps. It was very good. For mains we got the steak frites and beet salad. Both were amazing as well!!

Food was delicious as usual. We sat on the patio and as the weather cooled, heaters turned on. Perfect!

Great cocktails and an awesome vibe on a Saturday night with a live dj for the happy hour. Our waitress went MIA for over 20 mins and we could not order another round of cocktails. She was there at the beginning and checked in but then just kind of disappeared. Took another several minutes to find someone else to just get us the bill as the mood was off by that point of just sitting for over 20 mins with empty glasses

We had two allergy concerns at our table. The Manager Daniel came to the table and explained how the meals would be prepared. Restaurant was packed, staff were very busy, we were extremely appreciative for the explanation and effort provided to our table Food was great. Overall a 5 STAR experience. Thank you to Daniel and Ayanna our server!!!

Great tasting food . Server forgot to get ketchup for sweet potato fries . Had to remind her several times . Food portions were great . Chowder was delicious

Good experience at Moxies, food quality is very good, the indoor patio is not the best place to dine in, not very nice the way the tables are located
