I went to Mr. Delicious last week with a few friends and let me tell you. We started with two appetizers that set the tone for a memorable meal: the calamari and the mango salad.
The calamari arrived hot and perfectly crisp, with a golden coating that gave way to tender, flavorful pieces inside. Lightly seasoned and served with a dipping sauce that added just the right kick, it was addictive without feeling heavy or greasy.
The mango salad, on the other hand, was fresh and vibrant—a refreshing counterbalance to the calamari. The sweetness of the ripe mango paired beautifully with the crisp greens and tangy dressing, making each bite bright and lively. It felt like the perfect palate cleanser while still being satisfying.
Together, these two dishes offered the best of both worlds: indulgence and freshness, richness and lightness—a fantastic way to begin the dining experience.
It was also nice to have Chef Glen come to our table to make sure everything was to our liking.

Updating my review from a one star to a 5 . Couldn't find anywhere to go for dinner , decided to give this place another try . absolutely loved it , the food was absolutely AMAZING . I had the lobster ravioli and my bf had the oxtail meal . we both enjoyed it . service could have been a tiny bit better but that was only upon entering , was okay after that , will be returning for sure !
also the samosas are AMAZING !

Been in Durham for yrs and didn't know this place existed. The food was incredible, with tons of flavors, portions were huge and mains came out in a cute skillet. The salad with mango was extremely fresh, we really enjoyed our experience. The decor really took you to the island, this place is such a vibe, can't wait to come back!

I am speechless......the food was impeccable 👌. Everything we had from the oxtail samosas to the short rib, and the steam fish was amazing!!!!!! It was so good, the presentation was on point. When im telling you the food was so good, I mean it fed my soul🤗. We are definitely coming back for the seafood Friday's. Thank you for the experience and the oh so delicious food.

The lady was very friendly and the breadfruit was really nicely roasted in flavor. It was definitely the highlight.. I really liked it! 😋 Fish dish could use more seasoning and was watery 🥲 But I do like that they give you corn and dumpling 👌🏼

I've been here multiple times before, the food, vibes and customer service was great in the past, but this time, although we were welcomed pleasantly, initially, We were neglected for most of the dining experience. We asked to sit outside which wasnt an issue but no one came to us with menus for over 10 mins, so we went to ask for service. When the salad came, it was visibly old, had rotten pieces in it so we couldn't eat it. At the end, we explained that the salad was rotten so we couldn't eat it and nothing was offered....
The tables were visibly dirty, when asked to clean, we were ordered to move to another on ( sadly we were at that table before when our eardrums almost blew out due when the speaker boxes volume that suddenly increased to over 100 decibels( lol)
After waiting along time for the main course, it came out cold which says alot. I will never send back food, so I packed it to go.
However, Yvonne the server was nice when she showed up, but it seemed she was by herself.
Im sure this is a great place as the food was flavourfull and music is right but you guys dropped the ball.
I will always support my own....but this was a birthday celebration and the service was almost non existent.
Although your business is made PLEASE TREAT ALL YOUR GUEST WITH APPRECIATION, and be consistent.
