Loved the food. Loved the Karahi. It's a must try. The malai Tikka and Breakfast menu is decent too. The naans are the best in Durham. The one thing they could improve on is their kebab rolls. Overall great dining experience.

It’s a take out type with very limited sitting arrangements but the food is amazing. Very tasty food.
This place never disappoints. Our fav is chicken biryani and chicken kabab. Only recommendation if you could add atleast one more piece of chicken in biryani. Taste wise it’s authentic biryani.

Had lunch at their second location on Brock in Whitby. This is a proper dine in location with a nice atmosphere. Tried their Karahi, Nihari and BBQ platter. All were excellent in taste, price and quantity. Additionally, do try their Kheer which also delicious. Without doubt they are one of best desi food restaurants in GTA.
Our family ordered catering for our event, namak handi’s food and service was excellent!!! The food was fresh and made on time for our event. Our favourite was their chicken seekh kebab, the best we have tried! Highly recommended namak handi!!!

Owner is such a nice simple, humble guy. Greatcustomer service! He made the food fresh, he was honest that lamb would take long, we tried chicken karahi, kabobs and then went back for halwa poori. Yummy food!

I’m a big fan of Namak Handi in Pickering (Hwy 2 & Liverpool) because their Haleem is always pretty incredible, spicy & authentic. I have ordered their Chicken Biryani and their Paneer Tikka Masala, as well as their Karachi’s and they’re fantastic as well. We’re definitely regulars!!
