I recently visited this Osmow's location and was thoroughly disappointed with the portion sizes. We ordered a large Chicken on Fries and a large Beef on Fries, only to find that the amount of protein provided was significantly less than what we’ve come to expect from Osmow’s.
When we raised our concerns with the staff, we were informed that these portion sizes are now the standard. This was incredibly disheartening, especially considering we spent approximately $32, essentially paying for two boxes of fries with a minimal amount of protein.
I’m uncertain if this issue is specific to this location or reflects a broader change across all Osmow’s establishments, but I’m not inclined to investigate further. For those seeking value for their money and a satisfying meal, I’d recommend exploring other dining options.
Please don’t suggest contacting corporate customer service—we already tried and found the experience equally disappointing. We don’t need a 20% discount; we’d rather avoid the brand entirely.

Stopped in to try this chain for the first time. Ordered the rice and salad with beef. Huge portion, you cant see the rice under the beef but theres alot and its pretty good. The beef itself was quite dry as expected for end of the night, but I would say it was not enjoyable. The salad was fresh the rice was fresh and that hot sauce is really hot, but the beef was not the star of the dish as it should be. This is classic beef that isnt shaved off the spit, has likely been shaved and after sitting for some time is refired on the flat top. Wish I had gotten the chicken, it looked better. Overall for $20+ I do not feel good for the money spent. Would likely not visit an Osmow's in the future, mom and pop places take more care in their meats, although the salad and rice might not be as fresh but you come to shawarma for the meat. Still giving 5 stars as I wont fault them for end the night beef.

I recently order online from ( brock rd) location and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish.
First, the food quality was subpar at best. The dishes lacked flavor, and the ingredients didn't seem fresh. What was supposed to be a satisfying meal turned out to be bland and unappetizing.
The service was equally disappointing. The staff appeared untrained and unprepared to handle customer requests efficiently. There was a noticeable lack of professionalism, and it felt like the team wasn’t properly informed about the menu or how to manage orders effectively.
To make matters worse, when I received my meal, there were no cutlery included, which is a basic expectation for any food order.
Overall, it was a poor experience, and I won’t be returning. It’s clear that osmow brock rd location needs to improve both its food quality and staff training to meet even basic customer expectations.
Beyond Disappointed – Worst Experience with Osmow’s
I recently ordered a buy-one-get-one-free deal for Crispy Chicken Shawarma Wraps from this Osmow’s location through Uber Eats for $17, expecting the same quality I’ve consistently enjoyed at other Durham locations. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst food experience I’ve ever had.
When I opened the first wrap, it immediately fell apart. The bread was soggy, stuck to the wrapper, and ripped apart as I tried to open it. The entire thing disintegrated, spilling its contents everywhere. Inside, there was hardly any chicken, just 2-3 small pieces of burnt breading, and the wrap was packed mostly with turnips and veggies. It resembled a salad more than a shawarma wrap (see pictures below).
Hoping the second wrap would be better, I gave it a try, but it was just as bad. The breading was stale and burnt, the contents fell apart again, and the “chicken” consisted of small bits of fried crumbs with no actual meat. I couldn’t even manage more than a few bites before giving up and throwing the entire order out.
I want to emphasize that I’ve never left a review for food before, even when it hasn’t tasted great or even when it’s slightly overcooked, but this was completely inedible. I’m taking the time to write this because of how disappointing this experience was, as someone that’s ordered from Osmows at least 100 times. I wasted both my money and my time waiting for this order, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to be in the same position.
If this location is going to advertise deals on platforms like Uber Eats, they should at least make the food presentable. A deal is only worthwhile if the food meets basic standards of quality. Otherwise, it becomes a waste of time and money for customers.
I’m sharing this review not just to express my frustration but because I’d genuinely like to see the quality of food at this location improve. Osmow’s is a brand I’ve trusted and enjoyed in the past, and it’s disappointing to see such a drastic drop in standards. I’ve attached pictures below to show the issues with my order.
