Disappointed. Both the chicken pakora and black pepper beef were bland and I didn’t like the flavour that much. The fried rice was ok. The only thing I liked is the spicy dragon fish.

We went to this restaurant randomly as we are looking for some Hakka food. This is one of the finest restaurants in Durham region for the Chinese Hakka food.
Their quality and quantity is unbeatable and one plate of any food is able to serve 4 people in the table.
The only Hakka joint that rivals Federick imo. The hot & sour soup was just perfect , as was the Chilli beef (extra spicy,my request). Packaging was perfect and the service and friendliness at pickup was flawless.

Ive been going to the spicy dragon in Scarborough for like years and loved it there however one day i was shocked and disappointed because i found a dead cockroach in my food 🤮🤮🤮. I stopped going there and then by chance i found this other location at pickering. The restaurant looked clean so I got food from there it was really good. Hopefully this place won’t disappoint me again.

Their lunch special is a good deal however, I wasn’t a big fan of the sweet and sour chicken balls. It was overflowing with the sauce and drenched. I didn’t have much of an appetite to finish it. I recommend if you’re going for there. Try to ask for the sauce on the side if anything

This Chinese restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service was top notch, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a modern twist on traditional Chinese decor that really added to the dining experience. But the real star of the show was the food every dish we ordered was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor. The taste was amazing, with a perfect balance of spices and seasonings that left us all wanting more. And a big plus was the ample free parking space available, which made the whole experience even more convenient. Whether you're in the mood for classic Chinese favorites or something more adventurous, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The staff were knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations, which was great. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience with excellent service, atmosphere and of course, delicious food. We'll definitely be back.

Food was kinda bland to be honest. Wonton soup was very weak. Broth was flat and the wontons themselves had no flavour at all. Chicken wonton soup usually has a chicken garnish in the soup as well. Very stingy when it comes to protein I have noticed. The Chicken and Shrimp Shanghai noodles were lacking flavour as well. Very heavy on black pepper. The Shrimp and Chicken chow mein was bland as well. Could use some sesame oil or something. The Chicken and Shrimp fried rice was the best dish I got from them. It wasn't the best I've had but it was good. Only reason I gave them a 3 star review. Without that dish this is a 2 star place. Get the fried rice folks. That's what I found out. CHEERS
