I went in and told her that I wanted a meat dish I ended up ordering chili chicken I ended up getting a tiny personal serving dish with complimentary rice which I didn't order for $17 I couldn't believe it I specifically told her I wasn't ordering a meal I just wanted to meet at other restaurants you would order for an example two chicken fried rice and then you would order a meat dish like chili chicken or general towels to eat with those two chicken fried rice This dish was so small I was so angry I just left because it would have got bad! All these businesses nowadays are trying to rip people off in portions almost $20 for a little round dish is ridiculous this is why I stopped supporting so many businesses nowadays they think that we have to cover their margins and the answer is small portions but that just leads to me not coming to your business me and my wife couldn't even share that little dish and I didn't even have the courtesy to fill up the little dish! It's funny because the Google reviews said that this place is known for giving large portions The portion I received was embarrassing I won't go back there! Portions is everything!

I've been to many hakka spots in durham whitby ajax pickering but I would say this spot is number 1. I always order the chilli chicken gravy well done and spicy. The chicken is always nice and crispy with gravy which is hard to come across. Spicy dragon number 1 🙏

This seafood deluxe meal isn't so good. I'm not sure why the squid smells funny, also the worst part is the shrimp and fish is battered with the meal which is very very wet meaning the batter is soggy. I'm really not enjoying this. The vegetables are very good. But I paid nearly 20$ for stinky squid and mushy soggy battered fish and shrimp. If only I knew so I would never of bothered. Likely will not return after this... I'm really not impressed especially the fact that the shrimp have their tail on. First bite was chewing on the shrimp tail with mushy shrimp batter... Very very unappealing... Sorry but this was not worth the price.. smell is stronger the longer I'm reading the vegetables... Into garbage it goes thanks guys.

We ordered chili beef and got what really should have been called chili vegetable. There was barely any meat, how can you charge full price for that? On the plate is all the beef that was in that bowl!

Disappointed. Both the chicken pakora and black pepper beef were bland and I didn’t like the flavour that much. The fried rice was ok. The only thing I liked is the spicy dragon fish.

We went to this restaurant randomly as we are looking for some Hakka food. This is one of the finest restaurants in Durham region for the Chinese Hakka food.
Their quality and quantity is unbeatable and one plate of any food is able to serve 4 people in the table.
The only Hakka joint that rivals Federick imo. The hot & sour soup was just perfect , as was the Chilli beef (extra spicy,my request). Packaging was perfect and the service and friendliness at pickup was flawless.

Ive been going to the spicy dragon in Scarborough for like years and loved it there however one day i was shocked and disappointed because i found a dead cockroach in my food 🤮🤮🤮. I stopped going there and then by chance i found this other location at pickering. The restaurant looked clean so I got food from there it was really good. Hopefully this place won’t disappoint me again.
