This is an objective comment. If you love Chinese food, Sun Express at the Pickering Casino doesn’t fail to disappoint. Advertised offerings like the preserved meat and sausage on rice special are NOT available. This happens all the time. These items are shown everywhere (video screen and printed posters) and the staff say they don’t know when they’re having them. What’s the point of posting when it’s not available? It feels like the classic bait and switch way of attracting customers. On a positive note, the printed posters though cluttered are an effective screen so we don’t see what’s behind the counter.

The food here is pretty tasty. It is a bit overpriced. $23.88 for beef brisket noodle soup is steep. However, the soup was very good with a hint of tomato.
The fried chicken wings were delicious, $10.99 for 6 pcs. This was a bargain compared to other food items.
They do have some specials like preserved pork and sausage in hot pot rice $15.99 +$1 for drink.
The service was a bit slow, but there's only one line cook so understandable. If you are visiting the casino or attending a concert, the District Food Hall has some great options, and I recommend Sun Express for some delicious Chinese food.

The worst Asian food we have ever had. The counter was cluttered, the staff were preoccupied. Had to repeat order. No taste, very bland. Thank goodness for hot sauce and soya sauce. We thre most of it in the garbage and it cost us 65$ on top of not enjoying our food. Never again
