I've tried all the West Indian roti spots in the whole of Durham region and this is the best, hands down. Both in taste, quality and price. The quantity for the price is also value for money. The other roti shops are just not good enough and they're expensive. I'm a regular here, and also signed up for their rewards program. Please do not change!! :)

When I used to live in Durham this was my go to place for good halal West Indian cuisine. Now that i live closer to the city, I have tried a lot of well established roti places and they're are many excellent establishments, but this spot is the one that's always worth a drive to. The portions are always blessed. The prices are great and most importantly, you can taste the love that is put into the meals they serve you. The boneless j*** chicken with some oxtail gravy hits DIFFERENT

Really tasty food! Go there... now!I visited for the first time today. I'm a Canadian white girl who loves Caribbean food but sometimes I don't know what all the good dishes are called. They were very patient with me and helped me decide what to order for my family's lunch.I got the curry chicken roti, j*** chicken roti and oxtail on rice and peas. The dishes were well spiced, the meat fall off the bone tender and generous portions. We all agreed the oxtail was the star of the meal! Will be back again! Thanks for a great food and friendly service!

Quiet location. Was missing the Infamous I ❤ ROTI In Pickering...big shout of to Mike. I ordered the Roti ans Double and the lady asked spicy and I said No. Service was friendly...Roti was 9 dollars and was farely priced for portion. Decent amount of Chicken and potato and the doupouri was huge and allot for the amount of innners. It was definitely no I ❤ ROTI, But I would still recommend going and trying it out. Also asked if Beef patties were homemade....she honestly stated no.

Had roti & curry takeout yesterday for a large family gathering. Tasted great until I found a black hair in my curry. Everyone said it was good and has nice spice and flavour but with that came complaints about feeling bloated and unwell the next day.

Where to start, I guess if I could give a zero I absolutely would, but for what you might be asking yourself, it’s for one of the staff member there. Yup one bad apple spoils the crate. She was distasteful and very cold, if it weren’t for the elder gentleman that was also working up front there, whom might I add was very nice and approachable I would have expressed myself more openly.I suggest rehiring someone else to run the front end as this individual is obviously not a people person and should not be interacting with customers. I have had similar service with the staffing at Affy grill, so I don’t know if it is a cultural/customary way of interacting with people. The experience with the staff was so off putting that I will be actively preventing family and friends from entering that toxic environment, I feel very bad for the other staff members that have to deal with the toxic attitude, but atleast they can break free once the shift is done.If anyone else has had a similar experience please do express your review accordingly, this is the only way business owners can be held accountable for poor practices and services. If the concerns mentioned in the above are addressed I will remove my post.

Absolutely the best Roti place in Durham! Real Trini Cuisine, reminds me of home. My favorite is their dhalphorie and curry chicken and curry goat, it's always fresh and tasty! I will never go anywhere else. Oh and customer is always 5 stars

Staff were friendly, doubles were amazing seasoned well and not too greasy, my spouse had curry goat (boneless) (seperate) amble amount of goat/potato and she'll on side was great size. I had the small curry chicken (small) as amazing as it was I was also kind enough to let my son and daughter have a piece, given that it was a small the portion size was fantastic ☺️ I highly recommend this place if you're craving a great roti/double

I have been searching around town for the best roti and have tried numerous spots. This is the best roti in the GTA. I regularly travel 40minutes to pickering, just to get this goat roti.

TLDR: stew meats are very tender and they give a lot of it! Shrimp is way overcooked.First time trying Roti Spot and it was a hit with the fam. Interestingly, they offer a boneless j*** chicken, which kind of tastes like spicy stew chicken, definitely not the smokey j*** chicken I was expecting. The chicken in both the j*** stew and stew chicken are really soft, and they give a lot of meat! My daughter enjoyed the fried chicken. We also tried the oxtail stew and that was delicious and fall off the bone. Tried curry shrimp and that was really dry and tough.

The roti here is very flavourful and bigger than I expected for the price. The staff here are amazing and very friendly. You can tell they make their food with love. The chicken roti I ordered was cooked to perfection and was amazing. I would 100% tell anyone who wants an authentic chicken roti to check this place out!
