It was nice.. super nice location but.. they didn't have alot of items of thier dirty paper menus, the wait was unusually long and the shrip sandwich was overcooked and expensive. Brought some friends and was hoping g circumstances would have been nicer. There were so many flies as well. The waitress was doing her best.. but this place doesn't live up to its beautiful locations potential.
We live walking distance to the beach and eat at The Sailing twice a week. The lobster rolls are amazing. The home made shrimp burger is my favourite. The Sailing burger and fries is so good and there are always more fries than I can eat. I don't usually eat the crust from my pizza but the crust here is really good. Wings are also amazing. But more amazing than the food are the three nicest, hardest working waitresses in Pickering. They are good at their jobs and good people....
Please don’t be put off by previous bad reviews. We almost were, and I’m so glad we gave it a try. The service was great and the food was excellent. If I didn’t have to fly back from the UK, we’d be here every week.
