I tried their curry goat with rice and peas. Very nice, very filling. Sauce was nice - saucy not oily. They have a selection of soups. I am looking forward to trying more items on the menu.

This place is the best in Pickering for sure. I've always just got a jerk chicken sandwich and a patty from here and just tried the curry chicken roti and it was incredible. Very nice ladies at the front counter always take good care of me too. Would highly recommend!

Ordered jerk chicken and rice and peas with oxtail gravy. The jerk chicken was ok (kind of dry.) The rice and peas were also dry and the veggies tasted like vinegar. It’s a no for me.

SO inconsistent! One day the flavour is good, the next it's fallen off. Fried dumplings and festivals have to literally come right out of the pan or else they're just serving you microwaved rocks! So frustrating to try and support local (even with their increased prices) when the quality is steadily decreasing.

Their food is simply just not good. I have been disappointed time and time again for the poor quality in flavour and preparation of their food. I won’t be buying a single thing except there beef patties because that’s something you can’t mess up. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I’m about to throw what I got here in the garbage.. real waste of money and it’s not the first time!

Ordered jerk wings and snapper.. what was delivered was dried out and not edible.. for the price point of this restaurant they should be ashamed to send this out to customers..absolutely would not recommend this to anyone

Food was good. The curry goat was a 4.2/5 the jerk pork was 4/5 and the soup was a 4/5. Kind of regret not trying the oxtail But I will try it next time I’m there. Seems like there’s a lot of loyal customers. It was pretty busy when I went there but I did go there around lunchtime. The large soup was one of the biggest I’ve seen a Jamaican restaurant serve for takeout containers were pretty big

I love the flavor. Its really good but the food is fresh sometimes and its awesome. Don't order on Sundays because the chicken will be really old. Its left over day on Sundays. This happened to me me many times but i still order once a month hoping for a fresh cooked jerk chicken but it's just getting worse. I think I'm going to stop from now on.great flavor but not fresh most of the times(specially on Saturday and Sunday ? overall: dry and hard chicken but good flavor
