As a loyal customer, I have been enjoying the delicious food at Yardies for quite some time now. The food has always been of great quality and the portion sizes have been satisfying. However, I am sad to say that my recent visit to the Pickering location left me very disappointed.
The taste of the food has changed drastically and the chicken seemed to be dried out. Moreover, I noticed that the portion sizes have gotten smaller compared to my previous visits. This was a huge disappointment for me as I have always enjoyed the food from Yardies.
Unfortunately, I will not be returning to the Pickering location again. I have always recommended this place to my friends and family, but after this experience, I am hesitant to do so. I have also decided to switch to a different restaurant, specifically Beryl's, for my future takeout needs.
I felt it was important to share my experience with you so that you are aware of the changes at the Pickering location. I hope that my feedback will help to improve the quality of food and service at this location.

Had a jerk chicken dinner... So good!!! Large portion size too. Will be my new spot. Only thing is coleslaw is more a vinegarette than creamy. Still 5 stars though.

I used to I used to love Yardies. Now , not so sure. Not sure if ownership has changed or what is going on. I ordered jerk pork (large) with oxtail gravy on the rice (none put on) , jerk pork sandwich and a festival and 2 hot sauces ( no hot sauce in bag). I ordered via uber eats ( first time) and it was an awful experience. I ordered through uber for the convenience as I live at the other end of pickering and my order didn't come how I ordered it. If I came in person it would have came out properly as there is accountability. Beware of uber eats orders.

Been going here a few months now, and let me tell y’all something about this restaurant that will blow your mind ?, the first day I went there I felt at home, the gracious aroma of freshly cooked meals, spreading across the room…definitely has one thinking about how the tenderness and care that has been been put into each meal is consistent and flavourful ???Recommend spot ??? I mean one of the best restaurants in the GTA, and best staffs too ?❤️

I walked in and was greeted with a smile from a warm lady behind the counter.I ordered ackee and saltfish with boiled dumpling and green banana. Sooooo good. I also ordered a festival and fried dumpling on the side.Soooo much food. I have dinner already.Please support ?? .. I'll be back
