Had dinner last night as part of Countylicious. Choose the Waring house because the menu looked great and family had recommended it.
The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable but run off his feet.
The majority of the food was awful- cheddar apple soup- no cheddar, puff pastry missing, bland tasting. gnocchi was inedible- it was floating in butter, too oily to eat- no sage to be found. Pickerel bland, beef ribs very small portion and very fatty.

Just wrapped up a wonderful stay at The Waring House! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with easy access for all guests. We loved waking up to the delicious hot breakfast each morning, and the evening entertainment added such a fun vibe to our nights. The gardens and green spaces were absolutely beautiful—perfect for a morning stroll or just soaking up the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend for a relaxing and well-rounded getaway in Prince Edward County!
The Waring House is fantastic! The staff is warm and friendly, the food warm and delicious.
They went out of their way to accommodate our bus load of people that "dropped in".
