“We were a party of 6 last night and had a fantastic experience. The food was phenomenal but the service was top-notch! All three staff we interacted with were charismatic and personable. The hostess learned my mother was here from Newfoundland and told us all about the trip her friends just planned for the Rock, showing us the map on her tablet. Our server “Prince Charming” was so engaged with my step-son who is on the spectrum and can be very shy. It made my son’s whole night having a conversation with him about the Shrek movies and Puss in Boots! I could not say enough about what a wonderful experience we had at Hartley’s.“

“We had 3 couples celebrating our anniversaries in The County and decided on the Barley Room for super. My wife had stopped in around noon asking if they could set aside a table for 6, knowing they didn't take reservations. The woman she spoke to said shouldn't be a problem if you come before 5:00. We came before 5:00 and sadly, nothing was set aside. The woman my wife spoke to was their and pretended she knew nothing. and that's when ADAM came to the rescue. Adam asked if we were okay in the dining room and took us to a table for 6 - nice bright area over looking the garden. Adam chatted with us, heard our story, took our drink orders and looked after us. Took our picture as well. Food orders came next and service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal with Irish Shepard's pie leading the compliments. Adam came back with the dessert menus and patiently waited as we tried to make up our minds. Adam saved the day for us. His attention, his communication with us as well as knowing when to leave us alone is to be commended. If you are here and Adam is working, ask to be in his section. 5 Star Service.“
