Onesta is the kind of cozy, intimate spot that makes for a perfect night out. Everyone loved everything they ate! I'm still dreaming about the mushroom ravioli and chocolate dessert with honeycomb—unreal. Their wine list is top-notch, with great options to pair with everything. Already looking forward to my next visit!

We were following an air Bnb recommendations list and this place wasn’t on it but we couldn’t find alternatives during the quiet days after Christmas and decided to give it a try. We reserved asking for a nice seat in our note, and seated in the back next to the bathroom exit and it was a bit cold and drafty. The food tasted alright and we enjoyed the squash cavatelli, but compared to the rest of the area (and more authentic Italian dining we’ve had) we felt portions were small and the ingredients didn’t quite suit the price (for example I’d expect ossobuco in the tagliatelle’s ragu rather than what tasted more like ground beef, for what we paid). A portion of the menu was not available and substitutes were recommended which is understandable for a smaller restaurant. Finally, food came out really slowly, if they made fresh pasta it didn’t taste that way. Might have been understaffed. In the end we spent 145$ ish including tip and that’s only 20 less than what we splurged on at Bocado down the street, which offered way more food/better ingredients and a better experience overall. That was consistent with a couple others which were much lower in price point. We spent less at Theia next door and the carpaccio was comparably better + more intimate experience.

Food was really delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely! Our waitress was great and really nice too.
Also, if anyone from the restaurant is reading this, I’m begging you to please give me a recipe for your crispy potatoes. Literally the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten!

The food was overpriced, small portions and bland. There was no complimentary bread at the table. We were not offered pepper or parmesan for our pasta dishes. We told the waitress we were not happy with the meals and she replied I have never heard that before and did not do anything to rectify. We sent half our meals back.
Portions are very small, so small that our party of 6 went somewhere else after to get more food (McD’s). Basic Italian food, no bread, extra Parmesan or even pepper offered with our meal. Server forgot to mention to the kitchen that one meal was to be lactose free.
