Popped by Onesta tonight to celebrate with a friend. Cozy atmosphere with delicious food. (Bonus points: it’s close to the Mary street parking lot because sometimes parking in Picton is tricky)
The service was quick and friendly.
I left with a full tummy and a smile on my face.
I will be returning for a date night.

Ordered the rigatoni with “butter sauce” and was essentially served a soup. Mentioned this to the waitress and there was no effort to make a modification or anything. Would usually be happy to spend nearly $30 on a pasta that’s made fresh, however the quality is not there. Soupy bland pasta.

The food here is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the focaccia that comes with olive oil for dipping, but I like it more with the carpaccio! The pasta is cooked perfectly! I forgot to take a pic of the ribeye steak but it was juicy and buttery with the perfect crust! It's one of the best ones I've had in a very long time! Everything was seasoned perfectly as well... not too salty or strong in flavors. It was all well balanced. Dessert has the highest Asian compliment of being not too sweet lol...a hidden gem and must try! The restaurant itself is on the smaller side so I recommend getting a reservation.

Cute little spot in PEC. Nice vibe. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. Salmon comes out from a freezer in a frozen pouch dropped into boiling water, placed on plate. No seasoning...very bland. The ravioli sauce was also watery. I wouldn't mind paying their prices if quality reflected the price. Don't think I will return.

It was great experience in here!
Luckily we could book a table ahead and it was busy when we arrived.
Still service was great and our server was so friendly and gave us good suggestions for wine.
their fresh hand made pasta and wine had perfect pairing. I really wanted to try all the menus over there but I'll save it for the next time.

Walked into this place —2 adults, 3 teens—so, a party of 5. The restaurant was half empty. The host, completely serious when they told us, “Sorry, we don’t seat parties of five.”

Not “we’re full.” Not “it’ll be a wait.” Just a flat-out no, as if we asked to bring a circus act through the kitchen.

We tried reasoning. “Can we split into two tables—say 2 and 3?” Nope. “How about a table for 6? You’ve got plenty open.” Still nope. Apparently, they can’t split a group, can’t do basic math, and have a firm anti-five policy.

It was one of the strangest dining interactions I’ve ever had. Never seen a restaurant actively turn away polite, paying customers because of… headcount?

If you’re five people, don’t waste your time. This place isn’t for you.

Honest, Elegant Food in a Beautiful Setting

Onesta feels in tune with the pace and beauty of Prince Edward County. The space is calm and understated, with a quiet sense of care in every detail — from the lighting to the flow of the evening.

The menu is seasonal, thoughtful, and beautifully executed. Every dish we had felt focused and intentional — the handmade pasta was especially memorable, and the ingredients across the board were treated with respect. Flavours are clean and balanced, and nothing feels overworked.

The cocktail list is striking, with well-crafted combinations that complement the food rather than compete with it.

Service was warm and seamless. The team moves with ease and confidence, creating a sense of calm that lets the food and atmosphere speak for themselves.

Onesta is quietly exceptional — a place that doesn’t need to overstate anything. Everything lands just right.

What a delight. I felt transported to another place with the music, friendly staff, and the most delicious food. The salads were fresh, unique and tasty. The pasta dishes were mouth watering good , and the portions were perfect. We were so full, we had to skip dessert. Thank you to you all for a magical night

Me and my wife sat outside, the table was ok, so no complaints here.
We ordered a portion of arancini which consisted of two smallish balls, some tomato sauce at the bottom and a bit of parmesan on top. For the price, I expected a bit more.
For mains we each had a pasta dish. One was with bolognese ragu and the other with a spicy sausage sauce and still it took almost 30 min for the food to arrive. Food tasted fine, sauces were good but I felt that one pasta was a bit undercooked (rigatonne I think). The main disappointment was the portion size, for 29 dollars I'd expect more especially for dishes with simple ingredients. Total for two people with no drinks was around 80 dollars after tax.
