Called multiple times to place an order and no one ever picked up
Fish and chips made in heaven . Delicious !!!
Best fish and chips in county .I have been customer for all most 30 years they are number one let your taste buds deside you wont be unhappy
My favourite restaurant in The County. It has, no doubt in my mind, the best Fish & Chips I've ever had. On top of that it's served in the classic newspaper style. The Cook and owner, Greg, is a delight to talk to whilst waiting (and watching) your food cook (pre-covid ofc.). Also I would highly recommend the deep-fried cheese curds.
The absolute best seafood chowder in the world!!!
Great place. Great food. Great price
I am new to The County and decided to stop for fish and chips on my own. I entered the eating area which appears to be a room at the front of a converted house/ restaurant... There was one person at another table and a man ( waiter) wandering around. I waited almost 10 minutes before asking if I would be served. After getting a curt reply I waited only about another minute then walked out. I can't believe that this is even a business... Establishment is old and run down. I won't be returning.
This is a family owned outlet. At least that's what the cook / server / owner told me. Had shrimps and chips while my wife had fish. All good except that it's open only three days a week, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Great food! Wait staff won't win any awards for pleasantness though.
For a little town near the Sandbanks and along lake Ontario this place was neat. All cooked right in front of you while the establishment is made out from a old house. Atmosphere has a sailor look and very well decorated. Fish was juicy with every bite, fresh hand cut fries. Good way to end a awesome swim at Lake Ontario.
Restaurantji Recommends
for tourist and for staycationers. lol
Best fish and chips we have had for many years. Family Restaurant was clean, food was fresh and prepared quickly, service was good, price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend, excellent value for money.
Good serving for the price! Food is prepared swiftly, with four white fish options to be battered (cod, haddock, Pollock, halibut). The serving staff though could put on a smile while serving, it would make the dining experience much more amicable.
Been coming here since I was a child. Now I bring my own kids. Great family restaurant.
A small Fish and Chips shop I was passing on my way through town. It's in a converted house so the layout is small and odd in a few spots with enough slants on the floor to make you feel like your walking along the deck of a ship! The waitress didn't seem to be in a good mood that day but we all have bad days so originally I had chalked it up to a one off experience, however after looking at some other reviews afterwards grumpy servers seem to be normal here. The food was good and the prices were what I'd expect.
