Stellar Brewery, great beer, excellent in house tacos and a great view of the county.
I visited this brewery this past Thursday and I was very impressed with how the brewery looked inside and the amazing view you get from inside the taproom. The beer was very good. It certainly is worth the drive from Oakville to check out this brewery.
Cute place, but the good is overpriced
Beautiful views great flavors in beverages.
A beautiful view from this winery. The beers are very good. The only thing I would have liked is the option to do a flight of beers to see what more of their beers are like.
We're so happy someone recommended this brewery to us! After a day of wine tasting, this was just the vibe we needed to end the day! The view is stunning, the beer was great with lots to choose from, and the tacos were perfect!
The service was great, very hospitable and welcoming. We got to try a little of everything before making a decision which is always nice. The beers are top notch and the atmosphere is very chill, no pressure to leave or order quickly. Great beer selection and amazing staff, will be back next year ⭐️
Amazing view and beers!
Very well made beers, great areas for everyone, including families with kids
What a gem! Nestled atop a limestone hill on a working farm, Slake Brewing offers striking panoramic views of Prince Edward County—especially amazing at sunset . The modern taproom and spacious patio—complete with fire pits and lawn games—create a relaxed, welcoming vibe, perfect for gathering with friends (or even furry pals!)

Awesome view from the hill.
Sunsets and sours.
Unreal location with fantastic views of the sunset and the beers were great. Only minor feedback is that the tacos were average at best.
I recently visited Slake Brewing and was truly impressed by the quality of their beer. The craftsmanship is evident — complex, balanced flavors and an overall fantastic lineup that reflects a deep passion for brewing. It's clear that a lot of care and expertise goes into the product, and for that, they absolutely deserve recognition.
However, the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the demeanor of the server we encountered. While I don’t expect over-the-top cheerfulness, there is a baseline level of hospitality that one expects in a setting like this — and it was entirely absent. The server came across as unapproachable and dismissive, to the point that it made our group feel unwelcome. Hospitality is a huge part of what brings people back to a space like Slake, and it was disappointing to feel that our presence was more of a nuisance than a welcome.
I share this feedback not to tear down but in hopes that it leads to some reflection. A great product deserves a great experience to match — and I sincerely hope the front-of-house team can be brought up to the same excellent standard as the beer.
Great vibes and great beer!
Tried a couple of your beers at The Wooly in Guelph the other night. Very impressed indeed! Can't wait till I can drive east to your brewery and restaurant. Keep up the good work. :)
