Really poor experience this evening at Barley Room Pub. Although the restaurant was nearly empty, service was incredibly slow. Our server would disappear for long periods of time. My husband helped himself to menus to see what dessert was available, but it came to a point where, because we waited another 15 minutes with no server, we decided to pay our bill and leave without dessert. Thanks for saving us the calories. We had to go to the bar to get our bill. The food wasn't the quality we have come to expect from the restaurant, which was disappointing. I know you can do better than this, as we have experienced it. Please do better!

We had 3 couples celebrating our anniversaries in The County and decided on the Barley Room for super. My wife had stopped in around noon asking if they could set aside a table for 6, knowing they didn't take reservations. The woman she spoke to said shouldn't be a problem if you come before 5:00. We came before 5:00 and sadly, nothing was set aside. The woman my wife spoke to was their and pretended she knew nothing. and that's when ADAM came to the rescue. Adam asked if we were okay in the dining room and took us to a table for 6 - nice bright area over looking the garden. Adam chatted with us, heard our story, took our drink orders and looked after us. Took our picture as well. Food orders came next and service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal with Irish Shepard's pie leading the compliments. Adam came back with the dessert menus and patiently waited as we tried to make up our minds. Adam saved the day for us. His attention, his communication with us as well as knowing when to leave us alone is to be commended. If you are here and Adam is working, ask to be in his section. 5 Star Service.

The hot sandwich āspecialā was a bunch of greasy pulled pork on a single slice of white bread for 17$. Absolutely ridiculous

Iāve been in this place three times. The atmosphere is nice and cute but the food is not good at all. The ingredients are OK but how it cooked is not really good. All the foods are very heavy very greasy and itās very hard to digest. I ate hamburger and drank one beer. Itās been more than two hours and I couldnāt digest it.
After going for a freezing October swim, my ravenous boyfriend and I were struggling to find dinner, after three misses we ended up at The Barley. Steak sandwich , burger with an extra patty, sweet potato fries and 2 pints of cider went down easy, classic pub grub elevated. our server was incredibly nice, and checked in often. There was live music and great Halloween decorations all over the place. Thank you guys for the amazing night

What a great place to enjoy cocktails, dinner and live music! You are welcomed the minute you walk in! We visit Prince Edward County every year and we will definitely make this a regular stop! Our waiter, Michael made our evening even more memorable!
