I rode into Port Carling on my motorcycle and found Pete’s Links, pulled in by its full-star reviews — and it more than lived up to the hype.
I ordered the peameal on a bun and the cheddar and bacon sausage, both with toasted buns and fried onions. Unreal. The peameal was stacked in threes, perfectly tender and full of flavour. The sausage was just as delicious — juicy, smoky, and loaded with cheddar and bacon goodness.
As a bonus, just a few steps away is a beautiful lakefront view that adds to the whole experience. Grab your food and enjoy it by the water — it doesn’t get more Muskoka than that.
Definitely a must-stop if you’re riding through the area. I’ll be back for sure.

Pete is a beauty. Simple as that. The guy can turn buying a quick lunch from a stranger into having a BBQ with a buddy almost instantly.
