I am so glad I paid the extra $3 for ALL this avocado on a $30 turkey sandwich that we waited 45 mins for. Definitely paying for the location

Amazing restaurant.
Tried their paw noodle veggie option and really liked it. The lake view makes the patio come alive.

Food as usual was excellent, however the selection from the menu was very limited due to the fact that the restaurant was closing in 2 days at the end of the season, and the management was concerned about the food that might get wasted. Understandable. Malakai was one of the most attentive and personable servers in my experience. Will definitely be back next year.

Got drinks and left. Too many blacked out portions of menu. Not much choice.

Most places make it clear if you need to “seat yourself” or “please wait to be seated”, we had to find a staff member to clarify.

A basic burger was 30.00 and a chicken penne was 36.00!! 😱

At those prices you hope for the food is going to be made by chef Gordon Ramsey, the food was good but it definitely didn’t justify the insane price tag.

Yesterday, a party of seven patrons arrived at the restaurant with the intention of dining on the patio. Regrettably, no outdoor tables were available, prompting the group to be seated indoors. Following a 45-minute wait for their orders, the patrons found the temperature of the soup to be lukewarm instead of hot, and the cheese failed to blend into the dish, indicating that it had been left out for an extended period. Additionally, a specific dietary restriction order for a child was not accommodated (The Classic with no dairy/cheese), further contributing to the disappointment. The patrons completed their meal within 10 minutes and then waited an additional 15 minutes for the bill. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations, with the quality of the food failing to justify the extended wait times and overall dissatisfaction .

Visited the location in port carling which had a docking station for boats. Cute vibe but food was standard, especially for the price. They have a variety of dishes on their menu. The service was great and our server checked in periodically. Good restaurant but wouldn’t go out if my way to revisit.

Location is beautiful, pet friendly patio is a big win and service is always fantastic but unfortunately the food is just not on par. I’ve visited this location twice this summer and will not be back for a 3rd time. The first time I ordered the quinoa bowl and it was brought to the table with all other ingredients but no quinoa. Kitchen then advised the server that they had no quinoa left, the server handled it very well and compensated the dish. This time around the starter garden salad was drenched in balsamic and the salad tasted like it was sitting in the sauce for hours, lettuce was flimsy and no crunch. I ordered the Tao bowl which was in a pool of oil and had very little flavour. For a $25 dish that tasted like plain noodles in oil, with no vegetarian protein and next to no taste it was another disappointing dish. Server was fantastic however! Gave our pooch a bowl of water and very welcoming overall.
