My friends and I visited the frisky beaver because it was a rainy day in Port Dover and we were looking for something to do and did it ever change the mood! The staff was super friendly And made lots of jokes about their “crappy” wine and beer
We each ended up getting a flight . It was great value for cost and they had the cutest “ business card” type thing for each wine which described the flavour and fulness; making it easy to pick what you wanted and remember what you got lol
The wine was super yummy! Will definitely be back for next year’s patio season!
My only comment would be to change the stools at the high top because you cannot sit comfortably due to the stool to table height ratio. And maybe some more decor to make it a little more inviting!

We had the opportunity to visit recently, and I bought a bottle of the Smoke & Gamble Cabernet. Great wine at the price point!
I do not recommend ordering for delivery though. I signed up for a subscription because it was good value and I like to support small wineries and craft breweries, and ordered a case of this. I received an email that my order was being processed and that they would let me know once it was shipped.
Six days later, I still hadn't heard anything. I sent an email and received no response. Then the case showed up without notification. Thankfully we were home. Delivering something like this without letting a customer know it is coming is a bad idea, and increases the likelihood of theft by porch pirates.
I will purchase the Smoke & Gamble Cabernet again, because I really do enjoy it. But I cancelled my subscription, and will purchase it from the LCBO, and not direct delivery. Unfortunately, that is pricier so I won't be purchasing as much.

Ava was a lovely server. She is informative and helpful. I bought a range of wine that I tried in my sampling, a tasting glass that is my size and a tee shirt. ? I will say the sizing of my shirt is a bit of a challenge.

Life is too short too drink bad wine, so go somewhere else if you desire good drinking dollar value in your wine.

Delicious "Crappy Beer" and "Crappy Wine"!! We needed to purchase and bring back home with us! The "Crappy Beer" is a smooth lager, not bitter or overwhelming hops. The "Crappy Wine" is very tasty - both the red and white wines. I would equate them to a house wine. Both are very enjoyable! Don't let the name fool ya :)

The blushing bubbles rosé is excellent. Lovely, inviting staff. We had a great time. It is definitely a gem. Only thing that could make it better to me is if there were a couple more gluten free options. Gluten free crackers would have been much appreciated. Overall lovely place.
