This is our second visit but our family has been countless times and everytime the staff are amazing, the food is hot and on the table faster than you would think is possible and even with the insane speed of service the food quality doesn't suffer at all. Tonight we had some perch meals, a battered cod meal a kits perch and fries as well as a kids chicken fingers and fries. I had the mushroom soup which was very good and I love that they added Celery and carrots into the mix. I also had the battered cod which appeared to be your standard beer battered cod but the batter was crispy on the outside and yet light on the inside without the typical greasy puddle you usually find. This restaurant has is a historical part of Port Dover since the 1940's and its still going strong. This is definitely a must eat here location when you are in Port Dover.Kudos to the staff, Rose is always a delight!

I ordered the $37 perch plate. When the food arrived, it was presented on a regular size plate, instead of the usual platter. The portion of perch was visibly less…eight perch fillets instead of the usual 12 to 14. I commented to our server that I was disappointed in the smaller portion. She advised that the portion had been weighed and was accurate to what was stated on the menu. Notwithstanding, the portion of perch has shrunk from former times and does not justify the cost of $37.

The 8 oz Perch serving was unremarkable and unreasonably priced at $28.00, IMO.The wings were decent, but inconsistently prepared and rather expensive at $16.00 for 7 wings (1 lb).I wouldn’t be returning to this restaurant. It’s like a trip back in time. The character of this little town is dominated by motorcycles. Don’t forget your leather jacket and remember: “Loud pipes save lives.”

In the wheelchair accessible room, be sure to order perch by the pound. Add cole slaw and of course celery bread! Love the relaxed atmosphere of the Terrace Room. Good accessible bathroom!

The rooftop patio is really nice looking and has a great view. The servers were very nice. My issue was with the actual food. I’m sorry but it was absolutely disgusting and overpriced. Everything tasted like it was reheated from frozen and was just overall terrible. Definitely would not go back. Not knocking the location or the workers. Just the food absolutely sucked

I read good reviews about this restaurant but I was disappointed with my order. I ordered a “steak” and asked for triple the coleslaw, instead of the potatoes and celery bread. I am on OMAD/keto and I thought the steak would be sufficient. To my dismay, the steak was half a centimetre thin. What a letdown! And for that price! My brother had the beef sandwich. I think the meal was so-so for him as well. I guess I’m not coming back here.

A great Mothers Day lunch at Erie Beach with Mom. The perch was very good & the service by all staff couldn't be better, thank you Jordyn & Brittany.

Went for an early dinner to avoid The rush hour. We were told to help ourselves to any seat. Seated ourselves and proceeded to wait at least 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there. At least 5 staff members standing at bar area looking at us all the while. Finally someone asked what we would like to drink and told us our waitress would be with us shortly. Waited ...waited...waited then another couple were seated beside our table. Upon being seated , were asked what they would like to drink and if they knew what they would like to order. Upon seeing this we chose to finish our drinks and leave..just as our waitress showed up. Understandable if the restaurant was busy and totally acceptable if so but this was beyond unacceptable. Take your business to the fisherman's catch across the road....much better service and the place was packed!

It’s been a while since dining here and was looking forward to perch dinner. The service was fast and accurate however I must admit that when the waitress brought all 8 plates of our order stacked to top of one another on her arm, the anticipation was dampened. Fries from one plate stuck to the bottom of another, celery bread rolling onto the table. Please, make a few trips.

Was a quaint place with delicious and some unique food. Pickled pumpkin and celery bread are famous there. It's a staple in this town and a must stop for anyone visiting!
