This restaurant is a pleasant, quiet place like stepping back in time. White tablecloths and nicely appointed tables. The salads that come at the beginning of your meal are excellent with a nice variety and plenty to go round. The fisherman's platter was excellent including pickerel, perch, shrimp and scallops. Service here is very good. We had a delectable cheesecake dessert and we were extremely full when we left. What a great place with some wonderful tradition and history.

It's a really nice place. Good food, just need some, maybe some updating. Um, uh, it's kind of dull lighting, but all in all, it's really good food and the service with the young ladies are very nice :)

A delighful restaurant with excellent service. We were able to get a wait on Friday the 13th and we all enjoyed our meals. Tina was an absolute delight as our server (she usually works on Saturdays) but was working that day. Loved the complimentary appetizers provided, old world delights, like ambrosia, coleslaw, pickled pumpkin (delicious), bread, etc.

I had the 8 oz pickerel platter with fries. It was outstanding. And the salad served before the entree was amazing. The service was better than most 5 star restaurants, and white tablecloths ads that extra wow factor. Highly recommend.
We had the perch and pickerel which was awesome. We've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. They're known for the Celery Bread, you gotta try it

We sat on the upper patio, good views, misters for cooling and sunshades. Remember they have free parking across the street.
Parking: Parking is across the road. $40 dollar deposit that you get back when you order at the restaurant.

Staff is wonderful however the dining rooms are pretty dark with low ceilings which makes it feel almost cave like and when you're visiting a place like Port Dover it's not appealing. The food.....it was ok.
