Menu has been the same forever, however the salads take me back to tea time days.When you order a meal it comes with 4 different salads. Cucumber sourcream, bean salad, pickled pumpkin( don't knock it till you try it), and a yellow jello with horse radish. Lovely!

I have been meaning to try the Cove Room for ages. Always hearing about the perch and the celery bread.I have to say, it lived up to its reputation.The perch was very lightly dusted, crisp but done to perfection. The legendary bread was equally great. Our server also presented us with a variety of salads. All, quite good.The service was excellent.I would definitely recommend trying this legendary establishment.

Had the 3 course supper. Was excellent!Had potato soup..then they brought 6 different salads for us and celery bread.Main course fish or shrimp or steak. Was great the choices of dessert.

We have been going a couple of times a year for lunch in the Cove room for over 30 years. Today will have been our last. Prices have gone up and food quality gone down. What once was a salad cart is now literally a joke. Salads served in a cup, no veggie and pickle tray. Food was very lack luster, soup was salty and otherwise tasteless. Fries were just crumbs. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Was rather surprised to find such a lovely place with great food in an off the beaten path location. The seafood choice is great and with lots of local fish and the ambience quite pleasant plus the staff are super nice too. Would be good to have a few more draft choices perhaps but what there is is good plus the mixed drinks are also well prepared.
Going to the Erie Beach used to be an upscale experience. So when we decided to do a family dinner there , we had high hopes and we’re looking forward to this night out. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Although it seemed that they were properly staffed , the service was extremely slow. Upon receiving our food , the entire tables food was luke warm at best. When the waitress asked how the food was , we expressed our disappointment , she simply smiled and walked away … no explanation , no option to rectify the situation. The celery bread was the only desired option on the table

had the 5oz perch dinner with mashed potatoes, no other side. It was fine, but rather tastelss. My partner had the breaded shrimp with fries and veggies. It was horrible- veggies were cold and basically raw, fries were way overcooked, and shrimp was basically all breading. Most of that dinner went to the garbage and the waitress did not question why. Very dissappointing. Best part of the meal, unfortunately, was the Ambrosia salad. Will not be returning to the Cove Room.
