It's a bit funny how busy this location gets sometimes, and yet the latest review is from 2 years ago. Visited yesterday for the first time and got cookie dough and chocolate chip kiddie size. The portions were generous but tasted a bit watered down/off. My friend said so also and didn't finish hers - she had 2 other flavors

If there was an option to choose zero stars, that is the rating this place would deserve. I was visiting Port Dover from Alberta and the woman running the stand was extremely rude. If you like getting rude looks and comments, this place is for you.

Our new favourite ice cream shop in Port Dover. Situated right at the peer, this little ice cream shack is a must when visiting Port Dover. The owners are always cheerful and the flavours are endless. Great prices too.

Terrible experience, I'd give minus 5 stars as a rating if there was an option. I have never been treated so rudely by anyone before in my life...I was quite shocked..was with some friends and our kids wanted ice cream , so we decided to order the big waffle sundaes and while ordering the others the gentleman was extemely impatient and rude clearly disregarding the fact that children only wanted some ice cream ( exact words were "..man you are going to drive us out of business.." ..on requesting for some sprinkles the lady said " No i dont have the time , " then she goes on to ridicule us for our order " all this time for this ?? " we clearly did not take an inordinate amount of time to order as we observed others in the queue before us, took as much time or longer ...we were really shocked at their treatment and unprovoked insults..spoilt our trip for sure ..recommend others to read google reviews and try other ice cream shops in the area and avoid this one.

I paid a visit to this ice cream stand today for the first and LAST TIME. The lady running the stand was rude from start to finish. In the middle of ordering she left us to chat with a friend and give her friends dog water. She got our order wrong and my 2 year old ended up with a 3 scoop ice cream. All of these issues I could have brushed off but I asked the lady for a bowl for my daughters ice cream because it was melting super fast and also to order myself an icecream. I offered to pay for the bowl because I understand they cost the owner money. Immediately she began rolling her eyes and said she told my daughter to get a bowl in the beginning to which I responded that she is a child. I again offered to pay for it and asked what the issue is and she said LADY Im not in the mood for you. Do you want to order an ice cream or not. I said no and left. I have never been treated so poorly. UNFORTUNATELY my family Lready bought 6 ice creams from her before she treated me so poorly otherwise she wouldnt have gotten our business. DONT GO HERE.
