It took an hour and a half to get a hot dog , hamburger and fries! I’m not exaggerating either! This was yesterday at 1 pm. What a mess totally ridiculous to half to wait that long! They finally decided to stop taking food orders in order to catch up! You think? Wow and no apologies to any one as well! Rude rude rude! They should have been apologizing like crazy to every one . These teenagers were complaining how they had been sitting there for an hour and an adult helped them by inquiring about their order and the lady said are you sure they didn’t hear their number called . They were sitting right there and I’m pretty sure they’re not deaf so no !

If they warn you with a wait time, run. We were told 40 min wait time, fair enough on a busy beach and decided to wait. Well after 95 min our simple order of a Burger and Ballpark Hotdog were yet to arrive. No complaints about the food, just the incompetent staff! If you're running behind, at least have the courtesy to come out and let us know. Ever here of texting when the order is ready? Guaranteed we will never return and the many we will share our experience.

Spent last Sunday in Port Elgin basking in sun and waves, and this little food shack is in the heart of it all.
When I think of beach food, I think of fresh cut, double-dipped french fries and a bbq-style burger, and I wasn't disappointed. The fries are crispy and given in abundance. The cheeseburger can be loaded up with pickles, onion, and condiments to your liking. It's a good bear-paw style burger that's perfectly cooked with that bit of char but inner juiciness still intact. Extra ketchup, malt vinegar, white vinegar, and cutlery are all a quick ask away as well.
They also serve ice cream, poutine, and even iced coffee!
If you're lined up behind a family order you're likely to be waiting for 15 minutes or more but it's worth it. Remember, you're at the beach to relax! So take it easy.
My cheeseburger combo (burger and fries) was $12.50.
Parking: Arrive early to pick your spot whether roadside or in the lot

Lovely beach burger joint that has large menu and great ice cream. This place was a highlight to our visit to Port Elgin. The burgers are delish and made right when you order. You have to wait 15 mins but totally worth it (and you’re on a beach and beach time so enjoy the wait!) We were wowed by the service. A burger was missed in our order and the owner came out, apologized, gave us our missed burger and offered something “on the house” to make up for it. We were so impressed by the offer that we declined the free food and opted for the great memory ;)
