I would give this particular Boston Pizza 3.5 Stars. It's not horrible. My main issue was the service. We went on a regular Wednesday night, there was no big sporting event on at all. It wasn't super busy in there to be honest. After being seated it took 15 minutes for someone to come and even greet us. The server was very apologetic and I completely appreciated her and her service. What I noticed though were so many people just walking back and forth seemingly not knowing what they were doing. There were 2 men at the bar and they were not doing anything? Maybe they weren't supposed to be there but they were in and out from behind the bar. It just felt really chaotic with no reason for chaos. Anyway, I frequent Boston Pizza's and this one just needs someone to give it better direction maybe. Once we did receive our order, the food was good, drinks were good, and our 'server' was good.

We're visiting port Elgin and ordered food which did not arrive. After 45 minutes our waiter came over to ask how everything was only to find out we never got our food. He left to check out what happened and never came to tell us what was going on- we waited another 15 minutes and left. Very shitty service!!! Can't comment on the food we never received.

Food was delicious and good portion. Excellent service. Thanks Raymond for a very enjoyable dinner experience for my family. We would definitely come back again, the next time we are back in Port Elgin.😊

Very disappointed in the food at the Port Elgin location. Looks nothing like the pictures posted online. Group of 4 My husband ordered the hungry carnivore, there was 3 pieces of sausage and 1 meatball, penne served white, undressed with some sauce on top. Son ordered maple bacon burger with onion rings, he got 6 LITTLE onion rings...not worth $22.28. We ordered triple play app platter for 23.29...pictures shows at least 12 chicken tai bites, we got 6 pieces. Would not recommend going here, food quantity and quality not worth the prices charged. My husband is handicapped and we didn't see any marked handicap spots.

I visited this port Elgin location with my family. First strike was the unkempt look of the host who told us 20 minute wait due to reservations and most tables were empty and never filled while we were there. The wait for service was long with the waitress saying sorry your waitress was late not our problem. Next the place was very dirty french fries all over the floor carpet filthy and bench seats also stained and dirty. The 2 extra chairs we were given had food glued to them. The food was also hit and miss 2 meals ok and 4 meh. Very disappointed in this location.

Ordered a whiskey sour but when the drink came out it was just straight lemon juice and no whiskey, The food was not terrible but trying to get a water refill was like trying to find water in Africa there was maybe 4 other tables and not once during the meal did a server come over to see if we were doing good or needed refills I normally don’t leave reviews but I felt this one was necessary.

This is quite possibly the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I had been to this location before, but tonight’s visit was brutal. After the greeter sat me, I waited 40 minutes before I had to ask a server if I could get a glass of water and to take my order. This was also after using the electronic menu option where you can “alert the server”. I had made eye contact with every server multiple times that walked past my table before I decided to flag somebody down. The bar area was busy, and I got to watch the female bartender eat one of the customers poutine French fries. One of the other servers loudly commented on a sign that fell off the bar before giving it the middle finger. He then took my empty plate with a smile on his face after amusing himself gather. It was very hard to determine who actually worked for the restaurant, as all staff were in street clothes.
I feel compelled to share this for one reason……my 3-4 visits to this location annually are over. I know my $$ will probably go unnoticed. My hope is, at the very least, the owners / franchisee reads this and decides to clean the place up. And by clean, I don’t mean the restaurant, I mean the staff. Do better! I’d be happy if you lied to me and pretended you cared. Sorry for my negativity and bad review, but both the restaurant and future patrons should know exactly what they’re dealing with.
