What a wonderful evening my friend and I had on Wednesday evening…. 2 can dine for $59.00…. The service and food was divine. The staff were very attentive to everyone in the restaurant and we had an amazing experience. A big thank you for a nice evening and wish you all the best. You are great!Parking: We got a spot right in front this time but we have also parked a block or so away too…. and it is a nice walk with window shopping and who doesn’t love that!!!!!Kid-friendliness: A lovely family arrived with their children and it was so nice for them to experience great food and atmosphere very affordably.

Won't be disappointed!!Went for dinner. We had pasta dishes. Excellent Spinach fettuccine with chicken and truffle and ricotta sacchetti for main entrees. Very filling, good portions and tasty. Chef has a hot sauce that really is hot.?? Desserts were just as satisfying.Flourless chocolate cake and pistachio tartufo. When in Port Elgin it's worth enjoying.

Ristorante Rosina recently catered a small wedding for me, and the experience was 5 star. Working with them to plan the menu was a dream- professional correspondence, impeccable gastronomic knowledge, and flawless organization. The food was delicious and beautifully plated, with superb attention to detail. On top of that, the catering team was so friendly and provided attentive service. Thank you so much, Ristorante Ronsina!

We went for a pasta dinner, and they didn't have any past specials the day we went. They didn't have any limes for the cocktails we wanted. This could be considered nit-picking but it is a big part of the overall experience.

Dined here, August 2023. Note that for reservations, you need to telephone. This is a must and only way reservations are done. We used the Open Table app and found out our reservation was in downtown Toronto instead. Needless to say, we had no reservation at the Port Elgin location and thankfully, the waitress said we could dine at the bar. Well what a disaster that was; staff still needed to fill tumblers with water and glasses of wine so all of it was directly in front of us. Many tumblers were slammed onto the wood bar, a big swoosh brought up a scoop of ice cubes shovelled into glassware. Had we known this commotion would take place in our face, then we would have left; it was unbearably noisy & three staff members kept doing it.We shared a piddily chef salad which traditionally isn't a chef salad at all. It was as if the chef was putting a spin of new ingredients bc it had chick peas and diced beets. We split the salad, which was very small, and the lettuce wasn't fresh. Whoever made it mixed all the ingredients with the dressing bc the feta cheese was the color brown. It was unappetizing, my spouse didn't eat more than a few bites. We enjoyed the mains: veal and pasta, we had to ask for parmesaen cheese and for some reason the owner or whoever was in charge constantly kept coming around asking us if we liked the veal. Five times are too excessive to ask. It was a large portion which I couldn't finish eating whereas my spouse licked the plate clean.Dessert was different. On the chalk board was written Pink Peppercorn Vanilla Creme Brulle. We didn't know what to think about that; we've always enjoyed creme brulle but to deliberately add peppercorns. Hmmm. The spouse ate a spoon full bc he didn't like it; I didn't taste peppercorns at all I tasted lavender. Cost $85 included tax and tip for two. No alcohol. The menu had been changed bc the dishes were ate in 2022 were not on the menu ~~~

Had a good experience with my family. They accommodated my kids’ requests and it was a pleasant evening. Food is very good, a bit pricey. Atmosphere is ok, owner does come and check on tables which is very nice.

Very disappointed in the service and the food. The wait staff was not in sync, food coming out wrong and cold, requests not responded to.The sea food special, salmon, was over cooked, over seasoned and paired with cold vegetables and nearly none existent rice.

Never again! Horrible service. We came for a dinner on Saturday night. The servant was rude after saw us with a kid said there is no free table to sit. It was funny because there was 4 available tables in a room.Don’t waste your time there is much friendlier restaurants around the area.

Absolutely great food but the worst service ever. We waited over an hour for the food. They brought the wrong stuff and did not serve the main courses at the same time.

Meh, it's alright. We were excited to go after folks going on about this is THE place to have great food in this area.Got the Prosciutto Pear Pizza, and the Spinach Linguine. The pizza crust was very pale, and tasted more like a good pita bread than what you'd expect from a good thin crust pizza, the pears were still quite raw, the caramelized onions and gorgonzola on the pizza were excellent though. The spinach linguine was rather tasty at first bite, but not great, and the freshly made pasta just didn't cut it, we've had far better freshly made pasta than this.My hubby says that they're trying too hard to be something special, just get your good Italian fare down pat and excellent.Alas we expected more from the hype and the price. I wish both dishes had tasted better so we could frequent here, but it is what it is. Sorry ?
