The food at this place is amazing, which is really impressive considering how many different cuisines they have. This is the type of restaurant that I feel like can win awards. Jenn was super passionate and helpful as she described the dishes to us. The world would be a better place if everyone loved their job as much as Jenn seems to. There also plenty of veggie/vegan options which I greatly appreciate as a vegetarian. We came here as first-time tourists but I really hope I get to come back here someday!

What a gem! I was initially sceptical because of the diverse menu, but went with a large group and everyone loved their food! I got the west African peanut stew and it was such a comforting, delicious meal! The restaurant is absolutely cozy and the owner is very warm and enthusiastic.

For the first time, I felt like that food critique guy in the Ratatouille cartoon. The food in Saffron tasted so much like how my mom and grand mom cooking back home that I got moved to the point of tears. Kebab is exactly how it’s home cooked in Bulgaria, even fresh salad tasted just like my mom cooked it. The food definitely tasted and is homemade, and specifically kebab was made authentically just like in Eastern European cuisine. Chai with milk also brought me back, I didn’t drink tea with milk since my teenage years. I absolutely loved the place and definitely will be coming back, even though I live some 250km away. Also, one of the owners of the restaurant was so exceptionally friendly and hospitable, and is so into the food they are making: she was talking about their menu with such an aspiration! ❤️ Vegetarian options: They serve falafel and can turn some dishes into vegetarian alternatives at a cheaper price.

Great Indian food with an international flavor at good prices and their Sunday breakfast especially the Bollywood Benedict's really good. Too bad their opening hours are limited.
We enjoyed the butter chicken dish but for the price the portion was very small. There was maybe a 1/2 cup of rice in our takeout container with not much chicken in it and the roti bread was very small. It was literally the smallest portion I have ever had from a restaurant.

Food is scheduled by time for take out or dine in. We didn't have a reservation and we went on a Friday night. The next slot was an hour away. We ordered our food and ran an errand. When we came back we were IMMEDIATELY seated and served our warm delicious meal. It's a great idea for a restaurant and the food was top notch and reasonably priced.

Saffrons is by far our favourite place to order take out from in Saugeen shores. We’re vegetarian and there are plenty of delicious options for us to enjoy. Every dish is bang on delicious, flavourful, unique, and large portions. We really enjoy the paneer, chickpea doubles, curry, pad Thai…. It’s all good! And brunch on sundays is such a unique and yummy take on brunch. We love saffrons and their lovely staff. We recommend to everyone!Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious vegetation options
