On the way to home, We Stopped in Port Elgin ,ON for a quick meal with our family. Service was quick and efficient. Food was delicious. Chicken is well Cooked and moist.Will definitely stop it again soon! Thank you for making this an exceptional family dining experience!

Swiss Chalet in Port Elgin is a good choice for dining in. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, offering a wide variety of menu options including chicken, Angus and veggie burgers, buffalo and grilled chicken wraps, as well as their signature rotisserie chicken and BBQ back ribs. They also serve milkshakes and more. The rotisserie chicken was tender, juicy, and cooked well. It could use a bit more seasoning as it doesn’t have lots of flavour, but the accompanying gravy had a pleasant peppery flavor that complemented the meat nicely. However, the mashed potatoes were disappointing. They appeared to be made from powder and weren't properly mixed, resulting in large, powdery lumps with little to no flavor.

Update: I was contacted by the owner of this establishment and he was very apologetic and really nice and is sending me a full meal that I wanted in the first place so I’m very happy with the way my complaint was dealt with the owner was really nice person so I feel I should forgive the establishment and will take it that we all have bad days this just happen to be theirs
I’m totally disgusted with my treatment today asked for 17.99 chicken platter .. oh we don’t have the chicken as we had a big order … okay that’s a you issue not mine so asked what can we do maybe switch chicken for ribs also wanted a loaded backed potato which I knew was extra so my simple chicken dinner has now turned into a $26.99 dinner but I got pie for two bucks woopie got back to work over the road and not only did it cost me more than I wanted to pay but didn’t get the loaded potato as requested went back and yes I’m annoyed manager was no help and wouldn’t give me a loaded potato that I asked for in the first place …. Thinking upsetting your locals is not a good move especially as we are still here when the holiday makers are gone and word spreads fast won’t be using you again I’m disgusted at $26.00 price for what I got
