My husband was in Loring this weekend and brought home 12 butter tarts. They are the absolute best butter tarts we have ever had!!!!!! Thank you for getting up early to bake them!
Jakes hosted our wedding dinner and it was delicious!!!!! The food was a prime rib and a chicken dinner, both were done to perfection>. The staff did an awesome job. Everyone was pleased. Thanks for a great evening.

Went for breakfast with a friend, the chef who was also serving at the time was so friendly! She even made me something they don't normally serve after joking about it! It was so good! Thank you for going out of your way to make it for me! We will definitely be back for lunch dates!

I've loved Jake's place ever since I was a young kid. My parents and grandparents would bring me there every now and again as we'd do our trip to Port. It's changed with new management. But, I can say, that the atmosphere still holds true with that old time feeling of good people and good food. Pricey as it might be.
