I recently enjoyed lunch at Rawley’s Lighthouse45 restaurant. I ordered the Casarecce Pasta with chicken, pancetta in a leek cream sauce and it was decadent. My server Danielle was lovely and offered me a personal pepper grinder (I loved fresh ground pepper!). The atmosphere in the dining room is serene with a beautiful view of the water. I highly recommend this hidden gem 2 minutes off Hwy 400 just north of Hwy 12.
We ate at Lighthouse45 to celebrate our 55th anniversary with friends. The service was excellent as were the entrees. Two of us enjoyed the Sunday prime rib dinner. Portions were large and the presentation was lovely. We were impressed that the chef actually came to our table to discuss a diary intolerance of one of our guests and then prepared an appropriate entree for her.
Dinner was very good - my partner had the chicken supreme, saying it was just delicious. I had the soup-of-the-day plus the shrimp appetizer as dinner. Both were just delicious. Our server was very nice and obviously working super hard, she noted they were short staffed in the restaurant with only two servers. The slow service was a bit of a drag, and we rushed out quickly when dinner was finally over to watch a marvelous sunset. Thanks to our server for working so hard, too bad...
