Food was average I would say pub fare. We were seated in The Boathouse that was not very appealing or comfortable. (A paved area between some boat slips and parking lot. ) It did look like there were better areas with a view on second floor.
We went to the restaurant as a family and the food was delicious. Our experience wasn't great with our waitress and we felt uncomfortable in the bar area. She wasn't friendly from the start and ignored us when she walked by. My husband had to stand up and ask her for the bill and a take out box. After, 15 minutes she got us the bill but no take out box. He finally gave up and left with our leftovers in our used napkin. We totally understand if the restaurant is busy...
The food was really great and our server Lena was super friendly and helpful. She gave great service and was knowledgeable about celiac and had a lot of gluten free options, I had the lobster and shrimp roll on a gluten free bun and loved it, superb sweet potato fries too. The only minor issue we had was that it took about 45 mins from when we sat down to when we got our food but I think our server mentioned that a group of 18 people had come in just before us so I think that...
