Had a great meal at the Garden Dragon in Prescott. For context, I had taken a few bites off the plate before I snapped the pic. Had Beef and Brocoli, Chicken fried rice, Chicken balls, Eggroll and a Wonton soup. Was very good and would order again.

Since new ownership the food quality has changed, egg rolls are different & smaller, almond guy ding is filled with mostly inexpensive vegetables as fillers, not the same vegetable medley, no almonds 🤷🏻‍♀️. This is my favourite dish, the previous owners made the best in the area. Although it’s still decent Chinese food, if you enjoyed it before new ownership I’m sure you will notice a significant difference. Disappointing, if new owners take over a restaurant and change the food items(quality) they should also change the name of the establishment. I think I’m ready to scout out a new favourite. 😔

I’m so sorry to leave a bad review….but save your Money! We ordered chicken soo guy, wings general tso chicken, 2 egg rolls and 2 spring rolls as well a garlic chicken combo plate. The good was soo guy and the egg rolls. Our favourite normally is the tso chicken and it was so freaking tough we could barely chew it! The so called garlic sauce for the combo plate tasted like stale oil and zero flavour! However the chicken balls were tender! (Heavy on the batter) Spring rolls were filled with nothing but veggies and were tasteless. The chicken fried rice that came with combo plate was almost inedible. (Again chicken crazy tough)The wings were very tasty, however the salt was so over powering, we could only eat one! Just a heads up!

Very disappointing. I bought chicken fried rice, general tso chicken and fortune cookies. The rice was very plain with only rice and some chicken and tasted plain as well.
The general tso's chicken was over cooked and hard. I spit most of it out as it was hard to chew. Seems like it didn't sell on the weekend so they just kept reheating it.
The fortune cookies were stale and soft.
They are deffinately cutting corners

Friendly owner, and food is fine for the price, although the portion size can be bigger!

Top five worst meal I’ve ever had in my life. Each bite tasted like it was infused with cigarettes and the tap water came straight from a swamp. Server was making some crazy comments while I was dining, and brought out the chef to point at me like a circus show.

We’re from out of town and we called for takeout. The lady on the phone was so rude and ignorant to us because we didn’t know the menu. We ended up hanging up due to her hostility. Unfortunately we didn’t try the food. We will never give this place another chance due to this experience.

We are from out of town and we went to this restaurant and the waitress was drunk and dropped water all over our phone and told us to move than she said that the drinks were free “lie” she has she said she was called in bullshit she was drunk the food was horrible we watched her stick her finger in another couples food I can’t believe the health board hasn’t shut them down. If she would have spilled anything else something would have happened I can’t believe it the food wasn’t fresh the egg rolled are frozen so NO FRESH FOOD NEVER AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE CANT EVEN CALL IT A RESTAURANT

VERY DISAPPOINTED GUESTS

Their fried rice with the smoke flavoring is very good!! Wasn’t expecting such flavor, but it was excellent.

A reliable, clean place to enjoy traditional Chinese food, as served in rural Canada.

I asked, and as far as I can tell the szechuan vegetable is vegan. Not sure about the rest of the menu.

This is a classic/standard small town Canada Chinese food restaurant. If that's what you're looking for, you can't go wrong!
