A great place for coffee or treats! The Baker, John, is super friendly and does amazing work! Don't let the cafe branding fool you, there's so much more than just coffee here, and some of the best cakes I've ever had!

We stopped here on our way to Ottawa from Toronto, as we were looking for a quick detour from the highway and not a Tim’s / Starbucks. This place was fantastic, terrific coffee and baked goods, our kids had ice cream, and super atmosphere with covered outdoor seating right by the water. Also met the owner, who mentioned she bought the place in Covid with her mom, and stopped to chat with us. Very endearing story and place. 10/10 and we’ll stop here again!

Visited on the last weekend of June 2025. Not crowded and had a character. Very nice people running it. I prefer standalone or locally run cafes over big chains or franchises. The food was very nice. We had coffees, rhubarb bar, cookies, brownie, chicken and pulled pork sandwiches which all totaled to a grand total of less than 40 dollars. Food was tasty and they grilled our sandwiches at request. It is right next to Kelly's beach.

Worth the drive from Ottawa! The almond croissant was incredible, the cookie rich and chewy, and the date square perfectly sweet. Great cappuccino and lemonade too. Can’t wait to go back.
