We got the egg breakfast meal. comes with your choice of egg, choice of meat (sausage, ham or bacon), potatoes, toast, two slices of fruit, and a coffee plus one refill. Overall it was okay, definitely filling. price point was good. I liked that the toasted bread had butter spread on one side. The scrambled eggs were not my favourite. I would have loved for them to have more coffee and tea options. The place is definitely spacious and has a huge outdoors space.

A lovely little spot. Dog friendly!
The food was very good. Not greasy fries and a wonderful club sandwich with lots of moist white turkey meat. The service was friendly and competent.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere! We both got the southwestern chrispy chicken burger, the flavour was amazing, nice crunchy breading with a hearty chicken breast inside, the French fries were huge and cooked to perfection! Our waitress was extremely kind and hospitable. I can't remember what her name was but she had darker hair. Would recommend this place!

We went early afternoon for a nice beer as it was very hot and returned for supper. We had a nacho, which was good, with each a drink, we didn't want to make it too complicated, the dinner service was better than the dinner service, the young lady seemed inexperienced. The terrace is really cool at the back inside it feels a bit ordinary.

After reading all of the terrible reviews for this place I was a little hesitant to come here, however the food was superb. Had bangers and mash, never had it before was very tasty, would order again at a pub. Deep fried cheese curds were very well seasoned. The group I was with ordered for the table 2 spinach dips, they were well cooked, cheese melted on top, pita chips were excellent.
Parking: I found free parking behind near the lighthouse.

Had girls night here. Wasn’t impressed. I ordered the Spinach Dip, not that great, I had to cut the “melted” cheese with a knife. Taste was less than average at best. The waitress though very pleasant, brought us pitchers of water with lemon slices, but for everything else was not on the ball, one got their cold jelly like gravy late, another got rock hard food. She said because we were a big group that she was supposed to put a 15% gratuity on each bill but didn’t because it would talk to long. One didn’t tip and she came looking for her 15% some tipped more and said to take it out of that but that wasn’t ok.

Gorgeous little patio. Great music. Food and service is average at best.
Regular style pub food… you know; deep fried for the most part.
I’m giving one star because our waitress and experience with her was bad.
One of the people at our table ordered a pogo. Came late, rock hard, so she had to wait for something else to be brought out while the rest of us ate. Another at the table ordered a side of gravy. That was forgotten about too, then finally arrived at the end of the meal, and it was cold.
Waitress never checked on us, so we did without on refills etc.
Here’s the kicker; as we finished up we were tokd that, because we’re a large group of ten, we need to remember to tip 15 per cent. Odd request, but ok. I’d normally tip 20 per cent but was happy to give the 15 per cent requested.
We were stopped by the waitress as we left and told “one of your friends didn’t leave a tip even though I told you all that you have to.”
It was probably because the service and food our friend received was so BAD!
A few of the women told the waitress her tip could come out of the 20 per cent tips they left. The waitress said “No. those tips were for your bills.”
So a few of the girls dug into their pockets and came up with some money to cover the missing tip. I wasn’t about to contribute as the whole thing was absurd. Such a sense of entitlement this waitress had, even though the service was less than ok.
Anyways, long story short; none of us will ever go back there again. Too many ‘much better’ experiences to be had at better places.
Not a shining moment for O'Heaphy's. 12 of us went last night for our Lady's night dinner. Waitress wasn't super engaging ( perhaps new?) ...that's fine. Ordered, and some of us were almost done before others go theirs. My meal was yummy, however one received cold gravy with warm fries, other was delivered a rock hard Pogo.
Waitress only came to serve food and then at the end to clear dishes, in other words not engaging. At the end she gave us our bills saying "usually in a group we automatically add 15%. I didn't do that to each bill because it would have taken too long, so if everyone could add at least the 15% "
Then the machine did not work in the back room we were in, so we, one at a time went inside to pay. As I was paying the waitress asked if I was one of the last to pay.. indicating she was not paying attention, just before the last stragglers were leaving the waitress came back to us stating that one of the ladies did not tip the 15% and that was a problem. (it was the lady that received the rock hard pogo and had to grab her own to go box because of lack of waitress)
the waitress indicated that unless she collected the "missing" 15% it would come out of her pay. The fact that other women had actually tipped 18 or 20% was not good. So ...one lady grabbed some of her change and gave it to her.
At the end of the night, what I want to say is, tipping is directly related to the SERVICE and FOOD QUALITY of an establishment.
You as a waitress, or restaurant are not ENTITLED to that tip if you do not provide that service. Simple.
Disappointing experience.

Mouse droppings on the outside tables should have been cleaned long before customers showed up. I had to ask to get it cleaned off.
Nachos had a clump of ingredients in the middle. However, the cheese in the center was cold and not melted. The chicken bits scattered on top were extremely dry . Nachos had zero flavor even tho some chips were sprinkled with some sort of powdered seasoning. Waste of money.
