Came here for lunch and wanted to try a new spot out. I’m very conflicted about this place as the food and customer service was 5/5. However there was a person in the cafe yelling and saying obscenities at customers, on a substance of some sort, and it felt like there was no attempt to resolve the situation. It left myself, my partner and the other people inside visibly uncomfortable. I’m sure I was there at a bad time, but if there is somebody acting like that there should have been an attempt to ask the person to leave.

A truly wonderful place for any visitor or traveller. You will be accepted, treated warmly and with kindness. The teas and coffees are fresh, well made and temp perfect. Their food is homemade for the most part and is absolutely delicious and fairly priced. Please take the time to study the art on the walls while you sit and enjoy your visit.

This coffee shop has a community vibe to it; you never know who you'll meet here! It's a nonprofit organization. From their website: "The Outpost Café is a ministry of C*Road Church (formerly Centennial Road Standard Church). All charitable donations to The Outpost Café are tax receipt eligible in Canada."It's only open until 3:00pm during the week, and closes at 2:00 on Saturdays, closed Sundays.They sell good coffee and nice treats. A few tables scattered around the open space inside, it's fairly bright inside.Service is efficient. You order at the counter and bring your own food to your table. The walls are echo-y, and it can get loud in there.
