While passing through we thought we stop for some Chinese food. The food was horrible. It made us all sick.

We usually order takeout and their food is excellent, no matter what we have tried! Better than most, best in the valley!

Ordered combo plate, additional eggrolls. Eggrolls over fried or fried twice, not edible, looked to be pre bought frozen eggrolls from Walmart limited filling in them. Won ton soup was medicore. Combo plate...chicken balls had more batter, small piece of chicken inside, fried rice was ok, Very disappointing for the price paid. They do not accept debit which means cash only or credit card by phone which is a little sketchy. Will not be ordering from here again when back in town. I understand times are tough, but cutting portions or re-frying day old eggrolls is not the way to go! Charging an absurd amount for dismal food. Could have gotten alot more from my regular Chinese food restaurant than what received here for the price .and alot more! Nothing authentic about this place in terms of Chinese food. Frozen, reheated and bland!! Shame on this business.Over priced, not fresh, store bought pre frozen an unedible.?

Visited this restaurant for the second time. First time, about six months ago, the food was tasty. This time, however, the food was a disappointment. My partner's food was Chinese american which she described as bland and not fresh. Mine was a veggie dish in black bean sauce. Unfortunately, it tasted like a veggie stir fry prepared without oil and spices. We rarely get to go to a restaurant given the high cost of restaurant food and we aren't very picky. Even with an accepting attitude, we are sadly disappointed in the quality of the dishes on this occasion.

Ordered combo plate, additional eggrolls. Eggrolls were store bought pre frozen. Over fried, you couldn't even bite into them. Next to nothing for filling inside chicken balls were all batter, no real chicken inside, hard to find!! Won ton soup was a colour ive never seen in a wonton..Definitely powdered broth, won ton was all pasta, no meat. Rice was dismal at best. Very expensive for sub par food. Very disappointing. More certainly will never return or order from this place again! Absolutely repulsive! Shame on the owners of this place! Check reviews on Google to see other complaints and how they have ripped other people off!!

I had a combo dinner, I picked it up, menus said $13.95, bill was $18.93, that's $4.98 more, I don't think taxes come to that much the food was okay but not great, won't go there again

My husband and I are from Quebec, we were looking for Chinese food. We checked the website and found Kung Po. It had good reviews so we took a chance. The food was amazing, very flavorful, it arrived hot and was served with a smile. The owner was very friendly and attentive, we left with a good feed of fantastic food. We will be coming back!

While travelling on business I found myself passing through Renfrew at the dinner hour and craving Chinese. So, I googled and found this restaurant that had good ratings, and the menu looked interesting.I am giving this establishment five stars and will outline the reasons.First, it is rather difficult to find, and parking is not easy to find on the street. If you ask the server at the front desk, they will tell you where you can park other than the street if it is full. [Things have certainly changed since I visited Renfrew back in the 70s as a teen with my father as being towed was not a concern, but today there are no parking signs everywhere with warnings of being towed!]The outside of the building does not look like much, but I am dining inside not outside. The interior is clean and neat. The table and chairs were clean and inviting. It was also very quiet which was nice since I wanted to relax after a busy day and being on the road for 10hrs at that point. The server had a super friendly Ottawa Valley personality, and was fantastic at keeping my water filled without having to ask. This makes a huge impact when I give these ratings.I had the daily special of won ton soup, spring roll, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour pork, and chicken fried rice. Comparing it to other Chinese style establishments I have visited, including those in Ottawa and GTA, I would rate it as above normal. The food was fresh, tasty, and steaming hot (I absolutely hate lukewarm food.). The courses were served with just the right timing for me to leisurely enjoy each. At the end I received a fortune cookie and picked up a mint at the cash when I paid.An overall excellent experience, and just what I was looking for when feeling very hungry and worn out from the day. I left relaxed and renewed (my blood sugar was dipping) for the 2hr drive home. Glad I visited this restaurant, and will now make it a point to visit again in the future when I find myself in the Renfrew area.

We were skiing at calabogi and we wanted something to eat. Restaurant had good reviews so we called in and order i got Pad Thai noodles - this was nothing like Pad Thai it was normal pasta from Walmart with two shrimps and carrots (see picture) my son got pad Thai rice with chicken (he could find only 2 pieces of chicken which was the size of a bean). My other son had #6 and basically it was rice with some brown sauce 4 chicken balls. My daughter got #4 and it was almost the same as #6. Rice with Brown sauce. Food was really bland and I would say it was the worst Chinese food we ever had. I got to say we are not very picky people. Basically we paid $66 + tip for some rice and Walmart pasta … never go back.
