I really enjoyed our meal there. The couple that invited us for dinner both had the bison burger, they know it is delicious. I had the pickle pizza, and wow was I surprised at the meal. I was not expecting a pickle pizza to be so good! The sweet pickles and bacon were really very opposite flavours that melded so nicely. We also had the succotash bites and wings as an appetizer: their wings, yum; I had no idea what succotash was and I'm now a fan.Overall, Manitou was a great experience and I would visit again

This is our new date night spot! We highly recommend this restaurant!! So far we have had the Bison Burger (in my husband’s top 5) Brisket in a Boat and their AMAZING Pickle Pizza! The food is delish, the service is top notch and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming! Great addition to our little town! They have live music on Sat nights which is a bonus because this town lacks dinner entertainment. It was packed the last time we were there so i suggest making a reservation before you go. Can’t wait to return again!

Family dinner at Manitou Bistro tonight was fantastic!Started with the Candied Baguette, then for the main course I had the Nishnabe Pie, while my wife had the Brisket In A Boat.Finished it off by splitting the strawberry shortcake.Everything was so delicious, and the service was exceptional!

We found this spot completely by accident, and what a lucky discovery! Our food was delicious and the service was friendly. We were only disappointed that we couldn't stay to listen to the musician getting ready to play for the evening.

We were a party of six, for lunch; first time there. I had the chicken fingers, and they were without doubt the best I've ever eaten. Wonderful flavour, good texture, and the accompanying sauce is delicious. They were served with fries, which were herbed and came with their own spicy sauce; also delicious! Others in the party had the PowWow Taco (it was immense, and he finished every bite of it), Brisket, and Bison Burger. Everyone loved their food. The gluten-free options on the menu are nice to see, and they are careful about it - the fries are cooked separately so there's no cross-contamination. The service was excellent, though the server was really earning her pay - she was on her own, with about 18-20 customers. The price was quite reasonable for the quality of the food. I'll definitely be eating there again!
