25 minutes passed before I saw a menu. 30 minutes before I saw a beverage and another 25 minutes before I saw my meal. Toast was cold, butter not melted, and home fries were undercooked. Would not recommend for breakfast on a Saturday. Prices are VERY reasonable, but the wait just simply isn't worth it. Great place to eat in terms of atmosphere though.

This is a very cute restaurant, it sticks to its theme. The waitress I see every time I go is amazing, very friendly, remembers our orders, and is great for conversation. The food is good, not overly greasy and very fast.
Tried the lemon meringue pie, it's great! Was able to pre-order a whole one by calling in advance. Very glad I did.
Always stop by every time I am in Renfrew.

If you want great food and drinks please drop by step n back. I love this restaurant.and it's like stepping back to the 50s and 60s. You can't beat the prices.
Cheap, tasty & plentiful food. Service was fast and waitress was super sweet. Layout is cute, very retro. Glad I stopped by when I was passing through Renfrew. Would highly recommend.

I got Hungry Man’s Special for $12; it’s a breakfast on lunch time. Good price, nice food, its own old-time atmosphere. The bathroom was not bad; everything was working and restocked. Those who are paying by card will additionally be charged $2 for using the machine.
