service is Dreadful and each and every time I ever show up there it takes forever to get served and go unnoticed until someone eventually comes over asking if I've been served and then they go away and still somebody comes back later asking whether or not I've been served and I can't remember a time that I've taken less than I would say anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes before I actually get somebody to come over and take my drink order and then they go away again for a while and...read full review

Delicious schnitzel, prepared in a variety of ways—we know we can count on it to be great.
And their bread pudding is superb!
Menu
The Rocky Mountain House Restaurant is a popular spot for a meal, offering a variety of dishes including Schnitzel and Liver. The Schnitzel has received praise for being excellent, especially the onion wiener schnitzel, while the Liver has been noted as not quite up to the same standard. The restaurant features a cozy bar side seating with a fireplace, making it a great place to relax. Customers have enjoyed the beautiful decor and the friendly staff, who do their best despite sometimes being busy, especially on weekends. Portions are generous, and the food is generally good, with some dishes like the Cobb salad and chicken club sandwich receiving high marks for freshness and flavor. Parking can be a challenge in downtown Renfrew, but the pitchers and overall food quality make the visit worthwhile. Prices are a bit high, but the experience and food are considered worth it.
