Excellent onion wiener snitzel. Service could have been a touch faster but one server can only do so much when manning the bar and tables at the same time... being a Saturday I'd have thought there may have been more help. Anyways, I'll be back for sure.

They had the gall to call this an "authentic poutine". No curds, drowning in the most generic from the package just add water gravy and frozen cavendish brand fries. Its embarassing , get curds and make fresh fries. We were confused as to why they had deep fried curds on the menu but not in the so called authentic poutine and were told they are frozen pre prepared breaded curds. All this place does is reheat frozen and packaged foods. SAD.

While sitting for a take-out order, a couple with three children entered and waited to be seated as per the signage. They left after three or four minutes. Another couple, similar scenario, also left. Our order arrived and was taken home. The schnitzel were good, but the sides, especially the mashed potatoes, were small. My wife had apple pie while we were waiting. For the price, the portion was small, the apple filing lacking and served cold.

The good: the food. It was …….decent
The bad : OMG it was horrible. The place had no A/C. It was absolutely stifling inside and we had to give our waitress several hints to at least turn on the overhead fan.
She wasn’t even sure how to do that and had to ask for help.
It was evident from the onset that she was either new or clueless!
I’m going with a bit of both !!
The ugly- It took for ever to get drinks, we sat and watched our drinks sit in the bar for 10 minutes before she could serve them. The bar tender ( who was 5 feet away) could’ve helped but chose not to.
As mentioned the food was decent but when it came time for the bill( group of 9) she completely lost track of who had what! I mean completely! After waiting in The heat for almost 40 minutes to get the bill and several attempts on her part to ‘straighten’ out the bills my wife had to go up and pay for everyone’s because waitress was unable to figure it out! All the while the bartender stood around doing nothing and the manager sat outside on the patio. At any rate… will not be going back there any time soon!!!
Order a chicken wrap and fries with a pop.. the chicken wrap was toddler size and appeared to be made by a toddler. For $35 definitely won't return
Waited for around 15 minutes to be seated: there was no hostess, and the servers did not pay any attention to the three of us, even though the place was far from packed.
Food and drinks: The veggies were roughly chopped, mostly bland and uninteresting, the kid's spaghetti were overcooked, and the sauce was not great - this is the first time my daughter couldn't finish her pasta! The only thing that was quite alright was the souvlaki.
The restaurant appears to specialize in schnitzels - a 3+ at best... Definitely not worth visiting another time.

I got the fettuccine alfredo. It was bad, it just tasted like butter and noodles. Might not go back to rocky??♀️

This used to be a hotel/restaurant and moved to being a restaurant downtown Renfrew. We went there to try the schnitzel which I guess in years passed they were famous for. Problems started when they had to take back my 2 year olds chocolate milk as it had expired (she had drank half of it allready) No real apology was offered. My daughter got the spaghetti which she was happy with. My wife and I both got schnitzel with the upgrade of coleslaw and a bun. Sadly the coleslaw was unedible. The schnitzel was ok the potatoes it came from must have been instant potatoes. The staff were friendly enough however the bill came around and still no apology for the expired milk. Thought there might be a discount but no even got charged for the regular milk we switched too. Sadly I think this place is past its prime.
Noteworthy details: Not a hotel anymore.

This place is closed now :(
I hadn’t been to the Rocky Mountain house since it’s changed location, I figured I would give it a try… very poor service there is a board that says “see server to be seated” we sat on the patio and never got served and there was only one server… needless to say they never got our business!!! I won’t go back!!

Just drove in from Toronto came here with two friends for supper at 8 o’clock. Thursday, June 13. The two ladies had Cobb salad, which looks amazing and they said were fantastic. Lots of veggies as advertised which were all very fresh. All the other ingredients that were on the menu were in the salad as well. I had the Salisbury steak. It was fantastic. The potatoes were great. And the carrots were in abundance. Strongly recommend the restaurant. Sat on the restaurant side and the decor is beautiful.

I come here for breakfast from time to time and everything is always really good. Also came for a chicken club sandwich one day which was delicious! Portions are always generous, staff is friendly, and the place is clean with a nice patio as well. Definitely worth a visit!
