they charge for extra tarter sauce 1.00 for packets of tarter sauce .I have never seen anything so cheap ever..
the fish was extremely greesy and thr bag I picked the food up on was saturated in greese

Haddock fish and chips. I was extremely disappointed as the fries were undercooked and soggy, and the grease looked very old. Very greasy and dark-looking! March 2nd, 2026. Change the bloody grease! Next time I will travel that extra mile and go to the Halibut House. I would never get fries like what I got from this place. No golden brown on this order. 🤢🤮🤢 Hit and miss at this place. The taste of everything tasted burnt and old. The only people that were in, when I looked at their plate of food, looked the same as what I got. Very dark looking and extremely greasy. Keep this up and you won't last long business-wise! Won't be going here again!

I ordered a Halibut family meal from Amy's. It is very good fish. Fries are top notch as well. Good gravy + coleslaw too. We were very satisfied with the quality and price of Amy's.

I used to think fish and chips were defined by the greasiness on my tongue and the inedibility of their chips. I’ve tried the dish on many occasions, but never found one that tasted just right. I think this place comes close to very very good. It doesn’t have the greasy feel that plagued so many of my previous consumptions, the batter isn’t too thick nor too thin, and most of all, I genuinely wanted to eat the chips. Definitely coming back the next time I’m in the area.

We order from here regularly. Unfortunately, the last couple of times we have ordered, we were disappointed. The fries have been stale and double fried. You can definitely tell they are old.
The fish is fantastic, but I can’t justify buying fries from here anymore if the quality keeps going down

My all time favourite place for fish and chips!!! love it here so much. It’s always fresh and the battered fish is crispy and not greasy. the burger is also pretty good!
