Easily the best Caribbean restaurant in the area. You get treated like family, and the food is more than worth it. I come from an hour and a half away any chance I can for the stew chicken and I’m never disappointed. Greatest place all around.

Hands down the best Caribbean food I’ve ever had. Flavours were immaculate, portions were insane for what you pay for! First time I’ve asked for spicy and had my mouth burning! Just what I expect. 10/10 and will definitely be back.

We were in the area from Calgary, AB looking for some good Caribbean food after our flight. We absolutely LOVED the atmosphere in the restaurant. Aneal gave us such amazing service, it felt like eating at a family member’s home! The food was great and we look forward to going back for some shark and catfish! Thank you Aneal!

The smell as you walk in to the restaurant was so amazing, makes you want to order everything! Tried the Jerk chicken for the first time and it is as good as it smelled. So friendly, I will be back for sure

We got takeout from Aneal's Taste of the Islands on a Saturday evening. It was quite busy when we entered, but the food was made relatively quickly. We got the oxtail stew with rice, goat curry with rice, and chicken stew in a roti. The oxtail stew and rice was my favourite. I wish we'd gotten the goat curry in the roti instead because the flavour of the roti was delicious. The dal filling inside the roti is different at this restaurant and both my partner and myself really enjoyed it. The quantity of food was filling and we definitely plan to return whenever we are in the area.

We are fairly regular patrons of Aneals on Yonge. I saw someone posted a negative review stating the goat in the curry was dry. In my experience it's always been, very moist, enough curry to flavour and cover without drowning the meat. Just the right amount of heat. The rice is never overcooked. Amazing food and we'll keep going back.

My wife and I dropped in today for lunch and ordered the Oxtail dinner and the MacPie with Jerk Chicken. Both were delicious. My wife totally devoured the Oxtail and rice. I ordered the mild Jerk this time but next time I will order it with a little more spice. The Macpie was the surprise of the whole meal... Loved it. The owner and staff are so friendly and even the customers are friendly too. We will definitely be back with the family next time.
