Kashk means yogurt whey, a dairy product made of drained yogurt which has a salty and tangy flavor, and Bademjan means eggplant. This dish is basically made of the combination of these two ingredients.

From Newmarket to Richmond Hill, there are countless restaurants, but the flavours Apple Restaurant brings to the table are truly next level. The quality is unbelievable — easily worthy of 5‑star reviews. It’s one of those Persian cuisine gems that may not look glamorous from the outside, yet the food makes every visit unforgettable. If you’re in the area, this spot is an absolute must‑try.

I’ve been consistently going to this place for over 10 years, and for good reason. I’ve tried dozens of Persian restaurants around the GTA, and this one is the absolute best, without question. The Kabob genuinely puts other restaurants to shame, especially for the price. It’s a must-try, and once you have, you’ll keep coming back for more.

Honestly, one of the best Iranian restaurants I’ve tried. The food is super fresh and really tasty, and you can tell they cook with care. The place is clean and the orders are always ready on time.

Definitely try their family pack — great portions and really good value. They have lots of customers, so everything is cooked fresh every day.

Friendly staff, big portions, fair prices.
