I ordered a $175 cake for my 3-year-old birthday party, the cake was beautiful but for the price not even 2 tear cake. I purchased it because it's one of the few places where you can order in less than a week next time I would rather order from a supermarket custom-made cakes they taste better. I'm giving it one star because of the Belgian chocolate flavour that sounded amazing it had ZERO flavour and it is super moist that it feels like you're trying to cut ice cream. No one liked it and the kids didn't eat it, sadly I had to throw it out.I would say that it's a cake for your grandma who doesn't eat a lot of sugar or people who are on the healthy side but not for kid’s bday parties. I was so disappointed because I was expecting the cake would be the cherry on top of the amazing party we were having.

I have never thrown a cupcake in the garbage before... until now.I had called and was told they have cupcakes daily. I came in and none were on display. They had 3 options but they were in the back. I got 1 cupcake to give the place a try... the icing was still frozen and the cake tasted not fresh. For $5.36 this was one of the worst cupcakes I have ever had. The person serving wasn't very sweet either.

Save your money! I spent $170 on a 6-inch cake from April Sweets, and it was a total disappointment. The cake had zero flavor, and it was so wet that it ruined the entire experience. Don’t be fooled by the fancy price tag – this cake is definitely not worth it. If you’re looking for a tasty treat, look elsewhere. April Sweets needs to step up their game or risk leaving customers with a bitter taste and an empty wallet.

Highly recommend! We ordered a custom cake and cupcakes. The team was very accommodating to all my requests. It turned out absolutely stunning, even better than I expected. The cakes were delivered to my home beautifully wrapped and secure. They were super delicious , very moist with a very light whipped cream frosting which was like ice-cream. I ordered a strawberry matcha volcano cake online. I was asked om the site what time I would be picking the cake up. I said 12 pm. Got there at 12 pm and still needed to wait for the cake. As well, customer service was rude and abrupt. As a new customer, I didnt feel welcome or if me as a customer mattered. I took the cake home and the strawberries used on the outside of the cake looked unripe and old. The decorations on the cake were half done and not finished. There were only 3 silver balls at the top and none around the cake as shown in the picture. For a $60 +tax cake that had simple decorating, I'd expect the little it did have, to be done properly. If they can't fulfill orders properly, then don't take them. Simple.

I've been meaning to post this review for a while. We ordered a Mermaid birthday cake from April sweets for my daughter's first birthday party and a batch of mermaid cupcakes as well. Delivery was the night before the birthday and the cake arrived perfect, but the cupcakes were crushed. I was so disappointed and reached out to these guys, expecting a refund at best. However they actually went to the trouble of making a new batch for us and handed them over personally through an employee! Right in time for the party. I was very impressed with the customer service. Coming to the baked goods itself, absolutely delicious.
