This takeout spot is hidden in a small shopping mall that doesn't seem to get much traffic on weekdays. It's a nice chill atmosphere if you decide to eat at the food court. Plenty of seating. We ordered 6pc soy garlic chicken combo with cheesling fries and rose cupbokki combo with honey garlic chicken. The portions and pieces of chicken were huge! But the real highlight is how crispy the chicken is. We've enjoyed many Korean fried chicken joints around Markham but this is the crispiest, even with the sauces. I found the honey garlic sauce quite sweet but it was still tasty. Cupbokki came with hardboiled egg, fish cakes, and broccoli. It had a lot of sauce and the tteok had great texture. If you decide to take the food to go or have leftovers, there is no issue because everything is packaged well and the chicken stays crispy too.

It's my first time here, and it became my favorite Korean fried chicken spot in town. The owner was super friendly, and she recommended me the soy garlic flavor knowing it was my first time here. And I liked it very much, they were very generous with their sauce, and offered me extra on the side to try out another flavour The chicken was super crispy, definitely will go back again. ?️?️?️

I had a long hard day at work today and was craving some Korean fried chicken. I called BanBan at 8:45pm, hoping they’d take my order in because they make the best Korean fried chicken in the area. The owner kindly took my order even though they were supposed to close at 9pm. My order was prepared quickly, and the owner was very kind to include a complimentary drink and a fries upsize. Thank you BanBan, you made my day!P.S. I’ve had most of the fried chicken flavors and other menu items. My favorite has to be the soy garlic and the signature spicy chicken, as well as the kimmari.

Its hidden gem! This place is so underrated! I was craving Korean fried chicken and stumbled into this on google maps. We got the soy garlic and original spicy boneless chicken. Fries and ttoe bokki spicy flavour.1. Soy garlic - the chicken was crispy even 3 hours later when we came home. It was juicy and tender and crispy. The flavour was sweet and garlicky.2. Original spicy- this was more sweet than spicy. I would’ve loved more spicy over sweet because the soy garlic was also sweet based. But doesn’t change the fact that it was delicious.3. Ttoe bokki - it was good. But I personally think its okay. The fries were also good.Talk about the customer service. The owner is the nicest person ever. She takes care of your food and recommends you things. She told us this will be a lot for 2 people, but I had trust issues as how 14$ chicken will be enough for one person. Believe me, we had 70% of the food left over. The portions are good. And its all halal??.I want to try other flavours so will be visiting again. Also its in a small food court so not a lot to seating if a big party is going there u must do takeouts. And even there were less seating, they were very busy with so many takeout orders.

As a korean, I can say this place is pretty authentic. I got 12 pieces chicken of spicy signature and soy garlic, and a kimchi rice cupbap. The food was more than enough for 3 people. Both sauces were really good and the chicken was crispy and big. The spicy signature sauce is not spicy at all, so don't hesitate to order even if you can't handle spicy food. And I wish there's more kimchi in the rice cupbap because it was a bit bland for me. But overall, great portion and delicious food. And the staff was kind. I will definitely go back to this place again. I want to try the spicier version "Hell O" next time. Highly recommend this place!!

Banban is situated in the food court, so the dine in experience depends on how busy the rest of the shops are. My friends and I went around 7pm on a Tues night, and it was pretty much empty, so it was nice to have the whole area to ourselves. The owner of this food court stall is the nicest! She was really accommodating and checked in on us, which I'd say is uncommon for a food court experience.I'm a big fan of how craggly and crispy the chicken is. Never a dry moment. The soy and honey garlic chicken is great, especially the delicious crispy garlic chips that top the pieces. We also got the padak chicken and kimchi fries. The portions for the fries were massive, and the wasabi mayo dressing went nicely with the kimchi.I highly recommend checking this place out for the service and affordable eats! Between 4 ppl, we were filled up at about $15 pp. I will definitely be coming back to try the honey butter fry chicken.
