Good Chinese food in Richmond hill
The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. The food was bland and mediocre. The rice and seafood weren’t fresh, and the lady simply microwaved the food within a minute before serving it. I generally avoid Chinese restaurants due to food hygiene concerns, but I decided to give this one a try. After this experience, I hope I won’t step into another Chinese restaurant again.
The staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the food was horrible…I must say it’s the worst chinese food I’ve ever had in Toronto. I ordered takeout and went home immediately. It took 30 minutes only. The food was entirely freezing, especially the rice. When I say freezing, it’s more than cold, as of you just take it out from the fridge. It’s not cheap! With this price, I have so many other good options. No cash discount. No dessert if you order takeout (but same price!). We will never come again.
This place is our go to restaurant for great chew Chou food. To be honest, it has no worthy competitors in GTA. Its braised meat are authentic and excellent. The staff is beyond friendly and welcoming. The interior is also designed elegantly. Not to mention the price is affordable.
We stumbled upon this restaurant a few years ago, and have been back a few times since. Really enjoy eating here. Great food and great decor.

One of the best Teochow restaurant in town. Highly recommended for their appetizer combo and duck dish. If you miss the old HK. The restaurant will bring you back to the memory lane.

Good place for a quick bite for lunch. Not my favorite type of Asian food but service is quick and foods were hot, and everything seems priced just right.

I used to eat here frequently 20 years ago. Service started getting poor, and food quality was just ok. I stopped going altogether.
I went with a friend again last night. Nothing has changed, except the prices have increased. I won't be going again.
